Why was he playing on his first day for the club?

Hmmmm, I didn't look at the news that closely, didn't know it was a game.

It was a friendly during the winter break. I don't manage friendlies.

But what really sucks is that I sold two central midfielders in the January window and was hopefully replacing them with Ramires. Now if anyone gets injured I'm screwed. I have Michael Bradley (hail!!), Mascio (HAIL!!), and Eduardo Costa as starters, but any injury or suspension (likely from Eduardo Costa) and I'm screwed.

EDIT: I suppose I could move Landon Donovan back into the midfield.

My goal, btw, is to turn Gladbach into little America . Already have Bradley, Donovan, and Onyewu. Always looking to get Adu.

Mathias Jorgensen develops into a good player. He's danish and cost me around 5m 2nd season. 5th season now and he's challenging my Chelsea vets for a spot.

I also quite like Jonny Evans but he might cost a fair share.

He cost me 8m 2nd season but he seems to prefer playing DM. I've been loaning him out to other clubs and they rarely play him as CB, even though he's better at it. Even Milan, they had him as an MC more times than CB. Good youngster, anyway. Arsenal have a great batch.

Wilshere is a top AMC.

I don't think there's a fastest goal record encoded in the database for every club. Whatevs.

Those team records are only recorded from the moment the game starts. So it's the fastest Porto goal under your command, not the fastest Porto goal ever.

He was already here, he's kind of shyte. Anyway the injury spree is sort of continuing, my entire team is constantly at like 80ish% although I have top fitness coaches and they don't appear to be tired in training...and it's the 9.3

Don't sell Obasi. And if for some insane reason you sell him, don't do it anything less than Ronaldo money.
