wow. i can't even beat Orlando Pirates with the team i beat portsmouth 2-0. first ever time i can't even qualify to final round since i play CM until now :boohoo:

This game is strange indeed. I was cruising with Liverpool until the last 5 games. Then the team crumbled somehow, the strikers wouldnt score for their lives, and i've lost the leadership in the 37th round. I almost deleted the game from my comp but well, i cant. I'll just play the last round and try to rebuild the team for the next season.

2 strikers, 2 wingers, and i think i'm going old fashion with 4-4-2.

Well, certainly my slump wasnt due to tactics, it was a massacre against Boro at Anfield on the last day, a 2-0 win and well, guess i'll have some work to do next season. I managed a 2nd place, level on points with Arsenal, if only they have lost to Fulham on the last day. It was an almost for this season i guess.

Anyway, does the old school 442 work in this game?

arsenal at 16th places after 14 games and they can't even score more than 10 goals which is so ridiculous. even west brom score more than them and everton, bolton, aston villa net more than 20 goals which is more than any top team in the league

I always play 4-4-2. Different types but always 4-4-2
Ive found a little "trick" if you can call it like that, with small teams. Basicaly my Wing backs have normal mentality usualy. When i play with small teams i always put them play "attacking" and it shorta works so far. Well, actualy my game is going better than expected being 1st with celta in my 2nd season. I have to thank my R & L backs for that so far

For me the league tables are pretty realistic... German, Italian and English leagues ended almost 100% realistic IMO (Bayern, Arsenal, Juve champions) Spanish league was strange with Barcelona 9th or so, Madrid champions. In the Dutch league it was 1 PSV (me) 2 AZ, 3 Feyenoord, 4 Ajax. Ajax had 61 points, AZ 64, so that was close.

He plays well for my Dutch NT, if I play him (Van Bommel, Cocu and Afellay triangle works so good, so no need to play him) I had an offer of 13m € accepted for him, but I had to choose between him and Alex from Fenerbahce (9m €) I chose Alex, which turned out a bad buy, because he is injured 75% of the games. If he plays, he puts in good performances thoigh

Grunger just get Kim Kallstrom for 1 million. or if you want to spend a bit more money get Fiore.

He is actually good in FM 06, got me the win agaisnt Bayern

Only problem is that Kallstrom costs a lot more than 1 mil. At least in my game he does.

Wow, this is kinda interesting... You can choose your transfer and wage budget. A higher transfer budget means a lower wage budget and a higher wage budget means a lower transfer budget, etc.
