I can't be arsed to start a new thread for this so i'll just ask here, could anyone suggest someone that i could use as backup for RVN as a target striker in the 4-3-3 (or 4-5-1 ) formation and then eventually replace him? I was thinking of Berbatov...

go for adriano if you got the money to spend or pazzini

Robert Konig (sorry for wrong spelling) - 24 i think, D/DM R, Germany
Juan - 22, DC, Spain
Cafercan (spelling might wrong as well) - 25, SC, Turkey

i'm looking for a great RM. certainly diego is not a good choice as RM even though i did play him as RM which not perform well.

btw, Rooney make a new record by scoring 40+ a season. ss later on

Regens are all random and 40+ a season is nothing compared to what Henry has done in the past

would Berbatov remain happy in your team sitting on the bench (even for a little while) for RVN?

well i went for Berbatov and he seems happy so far, he's playing in all my cup matches aswell as in more minor league games aswell as when RVN is injured.

ngyc - i thought that Adriano wouldn't be too happy at all not being a first team choice, i didn't actually look at Pazzini

You should've looked at Pazzini. He's 4 or 5 years younger than Berbatov and becomes better at around 2007 or 2008, if you're not there already.

well Pazzini is 20 and Berbatov 23 at the moment and i got Berbatov for around £18mill and i reckon Pazzini would have cost me about the same and 3 years difference isn't enough for me to pick him, and also Berbatov is far better to start with than Pazzini.

Berbatov was great for me. Get Vonlanthen as back-up striker, he is young, is both left and right footed, has probably the highest potential ability of all young strikers at the start.

Vonlanthen looks good, but i think at the moment i'll probably see if i can get a first option on him as he won't be playing at all really behind Ruud and Berbatov with Rooney and Smith also being able to play there.

I got him at Liverpool (4th season) as a back-up striker, but so far he's owning and keeping Cavenaghi, Cisse, Garcia and Jarvis on the bench
