Why does Fm have queer names for the demo, "Vanilla" and "straweberry"?

Well I believe it are common used words in the program making world. Atleast so I've heard...

I really like it! The design is much of the same... but I love the new features. Half time speeches, new stats in profiles of players and manager etc. More to discover for me I guess. Can't wait for the release!

For the Dutchies here... Bol.com (dutch version...) says its available the 21st of october, like in the UK. So I don't think its out here a week later.

downloaded the Vanilla version on my labtop... great game, few things to get used to though



and I love the team talk thing, but I'm a bit confused... just beat Brescia 4-0 away with City in a friendly, and at the full time talk, I told EVERY player that I want a performance like this every week... Distin and Thatcher proceed to get angry at me for criticizing them

ya. i have the same problem though. when i was leading 1-0 in a friendly match in HT. i encouraged my team to tell them they can win the game. finally i won it by 2-0 but several players were unhappy because they feel i'm not appreciate their contribution?

Well I just played it for the first time. It's great, good to see the bugs that were in the Beta Demo have been corrected. Though I would've expected more new features, it's now actually FM 2005 with a few new options but not very much like last years change from CM 03/04 to FM 2005.

BTW I'm cruising along right now with Arsenal. 3 matches 3 won although that are only friendly's.

I couldn't help it and I had to play a few games.

First difference I've noticed is that I've had to made different tactical changes. In 2005 version I had a winning tactic and I only changed it a few times. Now, after only a few games, it seem that tactical influence has been damatricaly risen. I dint like the new game engine after the first game, but now I think it makes the game closer to real game.

I wonder how new features such as height and weight will affect the game

I'm really looking forward for the game

Why arent the play-offs included in the game Kone should have a future transfer too...

Too difficult for them to include. With changing european coefficients, the rules for the Dutch divisions would have to be rewritten for every season. I was really looking forward to them too

There's a lot wrong with the Dutch section. Not only the competition is wrong, transfers and loans were set to wrong clauses, shared youth teams are missing (Heracles/Twente, AGOVV/Vitesse) so some Vitesse kids are now at AGOVV and some AGOVV ones at Vitesse, board changes just left out completely. Really poor.

There are positives though. The engine is becoming more and more intuitive, as changes you make give responses closer to reality. The trainingsystem is also better to handle.

I wonder how the regens are.
