How can i make the players use the flanks more often, i mean they never run down the sidelines, like the plyers without the balls... so i can never pass to the sides because all the players are in the middle and in crappy position...in fifa 2005 it was so much better, in 2006 it's so hard to make passes to good areas because all the players are just bunched together in crappy spots..

Please help..Thanks

Well,

It all depends in your formations, you can have two laterals who will run up and down the sidelines. I like to use these more because they are always on the lookout for an open spot. I use the 3-4-3 when loosing a match, but it is very risky as well, yet the ball circulates around your team better and you have two laterals on each side (Well, not technically, but there are two on each side. The ones that are in the middle merge into the flanks and it helps) Try out different formations and Tactics, change your mentallity as well.

Hope this helps.

from a 4-4-2 point of view, u just need to hold the ball with your mid field longer leaving space behind you (your back facing the sidelines) hold the ball, move a bit around, your left or right back will eventually run up ... or another way

before u pass (pressing the button S) do this

hold Q then press S, release both together. Do this with your left or right back passing up to your right or left winger, the point being the passer will then run up and eventually running along the sidelines with the winger holding the ball for a few moments

hope it helps
