Hey is this tool only for roster editing now or can I also be able to edit player attributes and foot settings ? Cos` I can`t seem to be able to click on the players information tab. Anyway this Beta looks sweet . . . :rockman:

agrippa7 you asked a question a few pages back, so far I don't see an answer so here it goes. You created a player with epcdbi but you can't find him back in Fifa. You probably have a package installed with CC. It can be found in this map:

C:\WINDOWS\Application Data\FIFA2003CC\CurrentFIFAPackage

The CC package overrules the original dbi files that you've edited. So you have to rename the map for example:

C:\WINDOWS\Application Data\FIFA2003CC\_CurrentFIFAPackage

If you want to use the CC package again, simply rename it back

Well, I know how to do it with hex, but to write an algorithm to identify which bytes to edit could be more difficult.

Which files do i use and where can i find them?

Read the readme. It says very clearly, what to open, if you have a CC package or not.

And system requirements for ECP DBI:

- VB6 runtimes (Service Pack 5)
- Full Install of FIFA 2003

If you get a problem saying one of more file is missing, try to find them using google, it usually takes me no longer than 2 minutes to find it and down it.

Can I edit an existing player using this great tool? I don't think I saw a way to do this whenI tried it briefly last night...
Great work, btw...

Creating new players

Having added Wayne Rooney to Everton and England, I played a match and John Motson (commentator) kept referring to him as 'Dixon'. Rooney had been given the player ID of 1, and obviously this has audio files associated with it.

However, I transferred Jim Rooney of New England Revolution to Everton, changed the first name to Wayne and changed his stats and so now in the game I get the commentator saying 'Rooney'!

Just a note in case anyone else has added players and wondered why the commentator was calling them by the wrong name.

I was wondering what will the actual effects of the commentary when adding a player, but I didn't have time to check it out. Thanks for telling me that. I will take a look at it, if I find time.
