It's his own fault really . And this is just a high-profile case ,there are many other less known footballers who had the same problem . The first name that comes to my mind is Mark Bosnich (ex Chelsea and Man United keeper), . That guy could've become a world class keeper if he could managed to keep his nose clean . After he was caught he had an original explanation also ..he claimed that his gilfriend (British model Sophie Anderton) was the one to blame because for every cocaine line that she had he somehow felt obliged to have one too . I'm curious what's Mutu's excuse . He'll probably blame it on the media . I have a feeling he'll go for the ''I can't play **** anymore, my career just hit new lows and nobody feels sorry for me so I'll might as well get ****ed up'' routine .The guy had the same experience back in his Chelsea days (at least back then he had the escuse of being young and stupid ) , before joining Juventus and after that Fiorentina. Moggi did'nt do much good deeds in his life but he did one by offering Mutu another chance to play at the highest level . Ok , so the relantionship between him and ''The Old Lady'' did'nt last too long .. they got relegated and his ass was sold to Fiorentina . That move was probably the best thing that could've happen to him because he found his peace there (I don't know if he found Jesus also) and under Prandelli's surveillance he becamed a world class player again . What more could he possibly ask for ? Money , success , a tight ass latina wife , why could'nt he leave things as they were ? Should someone be blamed if nobody will jump in his rescue this time ? He had his chances and he wasted them , the way I see it he's a lost cause . I hope his health problems are'nt too bad and that there's a medical solution for them , but his carreer as a footballer is over , it's no way out of this one this time .
