finding it impossible to win with low morale HELP

ok i restarted since my old game messed up and again i've been playing for around 1/2 a season, first 1/2 was great i lost 1 won the others and drew 2. now its mid december, and recently i've been drawing games home and away, against awful teams, my team that used to put moves together nicely now just give away the ball and the opposition scores with their first shot 90% of the time. so obv morale has started to drop the teams morale is now really low and now im started to loose game against bottom of the league teams and as a result i'm slippin down the table out of the promotion places, I've tried everything... but i'm open to advice!! any1 had and overcome this problem what do i do??? it can't b the players or my tactics can it? cos they were superb for the 1st 1/2 of the season. and now when we play gd football we draw at best these days i could b winning 2-0 in the first 1/2 then straight after the restart the oposition will score with their first shot, then quickly again with their next and then go on to win

Make use of the media, praise players, criticise them, flame other managers. You could also try another tactic. Try a defensive one, maybe you'll get a sneaky (perhaps undeserved) victory, this victory will boos confidince and you'll experience an upgoing spiral

If I play poorly in 2-3 games in a row I just change the tactic and it almost always works.

when you say "change tactic", how extreme are you talking? as in just alter a few Farrows? or completely changing the way the team lines up and plays?

Change the tactic may not the be the best choice...but can work yeah. The best choice would clearly be to say the correct things in half time...make use of the media. You can also put the tactic to a more raw one...direct play through the wings...and study better the opponent.

yeah i think the only thing left for me to do is to study the opponent and set a tactic accordingly, thanks for the advice people i will try your ideas!

Yeah like completely change it around... Lets say I use the same tactic for 2 months and crush teams in every game, there always comes a time when the tactic just stops working, regardless of the opposition. So then I just make a new one from scratch.

give this a try, when you save it rename it to a .tac file.

if your teams ****ty youll probably get smacked though.

completely revamp your tactics until your morale is boosted... assistant manager to pick often seems to work better in such circumstances and having the only commentary setting for matches seems to result in hatfuls of goals, oddly

Totally revamping your tactics over and over again isn't gonna work either. Small adjustments to instructions and stuff will work better I think.

when morale is low, dont be reactive, be proactive and also encourage rather than giving ur players a scolding.

Being proactive would mean you never let the morale get low, so once it's already low you can't be proactive

cheers for all the advice i changed tactics and formation and it worked to start with but then i jus started loosing again after about 4 games, but i luckily did just enough to finish 2nd and get auto promotion.
