I'm Samuel Juárez, I'm from El Salvador and today I realized, I'm thankful with you all kitmakers, 'cause, you are who make FIFA, a better game everyday.
So I wanted to help the people out with this tutorial. I saw so many ppl requesting help for this in a lot of blogs and FINALLY yesterday I found the way that worked fine for me.
The software you need are the following:
- DB Master 08 (by Rinaldo)
- File Master 08 (by Rinaldo)
- Kit Raptor 08 1.5 (by Ariel Santarelli)
- 08 Menu Working (by MonkeyDragon)
The things you need to have your kits are the following:
- The PNG or BMP image for the kit and the minikit
- a t75__(2 for GK or 3 for 3RD kit)_0_(code number provided for each team).fsh
*example* "t75__2_0_1.fsh" for ARSENAL's GOALKEEPER kit
*example* "t75__3_0_7.fsh" for LIVERPOOL's THIRD kit
<u can find it, exporting with FILEMASTER 08, which ever of this files located between "data\zdata_07.big" and "data\zdata_18.big">
-The goodwill and patience to restart your manager career from zero, 'cause this makes your FIFA crash when you try to play adding the kits and playing your career. (This happened to me, by the way.)
..:: FOR THIRD KIT ::..
1) First of all we need to do is to search the code of the team we want to use. In this case I'll make Boca Juniors. Open KIT RAPTOR 1.5 and look where is BOCA JUNIORS. You pick it, and over the name, you will see where says "Team ID" the code-number of this team. In this case, Boca's code is "1877"
2) Open FILEMASTER 08 and export a random *.fsh file, I used as example, "t75__1_0_1881.fsh" file from the zdata14.big. This is the away kit for UNAM. You can pick ANY *.fsh we want, but I recomend to pick the home kit *.fsh of the team we want to use.
3) Rename our *.fsh file with the code of the team we want to use and the number of the kit. Replace "1" with "3" (for third kit, 2 is for goalie kit) and the "1881" with "1878" (code-number of BOCA JUNIORS). Your file should be renamed like this: "t75__3_0_1877.fsh"
4) Now IMPORT this file to the data folder. Now, something really important to check out is that ZDATA folders where kits are located, are divided by sectors. This sectors are:
ZDATA_07.BIG ---- KITS FROM code 0 TO 66
ZDATA_08.BIG ---- KITS FROM code 67 TO 203
ZDATA_09.BIG ---- KITS FROM code 209 TO 330
ZDATA_10.BIG ---- KITS FROM code 346 TO 487
ZDATA_11.BIG ---- KITS FROM code 492 TO 688
ZDATA_12.BIG ---- KITS FROM code 689 TO 874
ZDATA_13.BIG ---- KITS FROM code 894 TO 1786
ZDATA_14.BIG ---- KITS FROM code 1787 TO 1957
ZDATA_15.BIG ---- KITS FROM code 1958 TO 9372
ZDATA_16.BIG ---- KITS FROM code 9373 TO 9872
ZDATA_17.BIG ---- KITS FROM code 9383 TO 111045
ZDATA_18.BIG ---- KITS FROM code 111048 TO 111812
I strongly recommend to import the *.fsh file of the team you are working with into the ZDATA where the home and away *.fsh files are located.
*example* If you are working with Leeds United files, import the "t75__3_0_8.fsh" to ZDATA_07.BIG
If you are working with AEK Athens files, import the "t75__2_0_278.fsh" to ZDATA_09.BIG
If you are working with Fiorentina files, import the "t75__3_0_110374.fsh" to ZDATA_18.BIG
We are working with Boca Juniors file, so this one, I'll import it to ZDATA_13.BIG
5.1) Go where you have the file FIFA.DB and make a backup of it.
5.2) Open DB MASTER 08 and Open fifa.db
6) Now, go to the TEAMKITS menu. Over there are all the kits each team have assigned in this FIFA. In the first column, called TEAMID are ordered the teams with their code-number. Right now, search where is located BOCA JUNIORS code number in this table. Remembering, is 1877. If you find it, click over at the left of the codenumber to select the whole row. Then press F4 to copy. Inmediately press F5 to paste.
7) Go to the bottom of the table and you will see there's the same row with the same data as BOCA JUNIORS home kit. Now, replace in the KITTYPE, "0" to "3" for THIRD KIT or "2" for GOALIE KIT. If you want to change:
- Collar = COLLARGEOMETRY
- Name placement= NAMEPLACEMENT
- Name color= NAMECOLOR
- Jersey Font Number= JERSEYCOLORID
That's the most important changes for me by the way. The others are mostly irrelevant.
8) Now, go to the menu, and look where says REWARDS. Click over it and you will see a new menu of things, right? Look for the ID 79, select the whole record, clicking at left of the ID 79 and press F4, then F5 to paste it.
9) Go to the bottom of the table and you can see, you have the same record. Right now, you are asking, where in the heck we are, some of you guys know, some others not, but don't worry, we're okay. At the end you'll see
10) In the record we just copy, replace the ID 79 with 81, is the following id after HIGHBURY STADIUM. Now, in the next square, of the CLIP column, is the following "assets/kits/j3_00919.swf". Replace the "00919" with "01878", leaving "assets/kits/j3_01878.swf". In the NAME, replace "KIT919" with "KIT1878". In the LABEL, replace "30009190" with "30018780". Here remember ALWAYS leave the whole number with 8 characters and with a 0 at the end of it. In the VALUE (I know ALL you guys are gonna like this one), replace the number, with "0". (Don't tell anybody but with this "0" your kit, at the fan shop it's FREE!)
11) Save the database.
12) Go to KITRAPTOR and replace the third/goalie kit!
13) Open 08 MENU MAKER, click where you change the minikits. Select "Third Kit", then Load your minikit and click "Make" button.
14) If you can, or if the game crashes, rebuild your FIFA.FAT AND BH. You can do it in FILEMASTER 08. Overthere look for the option.
15) Open FIFA08, go to the FAN SHOP and Buy your new third kit. Then use it and tell me how good it seems.

1)... i wont copy the whole process again, fellas, so is the same as third kit. Just skip 8, 9, 10 AND 13 STEPS!
