yeh it worked fine for me after some tries... just remember to hear the "It's ShowTime" after activating.... it took quite a long time to hear it ..maybe it's because the files are too big.

I had the same problem byeGregory. Everything said no data on it for the one and only time it worked. If i use just the team folders without the WC 2002 patch it works fine. When i use the patch it crashes. When it executes the script it says something like cannot rename data/cmn/fe to fe.ita or fe.fra. Not sure what that means. Can anyone help? THanks.

Thats no problem, you can ignore this message, as you dont have the french or italian Fifa.

To fix the NO DATA try going into FIFA2002 OPTIONS (when the Patch is installed) and click the Language button at the bottom !

Everything seems to work perfectly for me at the moment - SUPERB work bolzermike, WELL DONE!!

The only thing I'm worried about is that I currently have windows 98, but next week I'll have a new computer, and it will be XP!
Has anyone managed to get this (and other fx patches) to run ok on XP? I'd hate to think I'll have a spanking new pc and won't be able to use fifafx

I already made a german WinXP-version that is under Betatesting this time (Im very sure it should work as it doesnt need any installation script)
After the positiv feedback from the Testers there will be WinXP-versions for other languages too.

The original basic Patch should work perfect with Win2000 (if used as described).

well nearly , got it to run , seems the problem was in the Install, I went with the default path on the exe. ( program files/../fifa2002 ) after the second go I used Browse and manually put in the Path . program files/easoprt/fifa2002 and hey presto it worked..

Only thing is the Anthems and goalie kits have not Installed .. could you tell me the folder I should Install them into

One last thing , all the buttons on my gamepad have changed.

ps.. the read me it says to use Stadium 1 as default ( I have ) but do not get the world cup stadiums ( but the default fifa2002 stadium 1 from the normal game),

Manually Enter the path for each Anthem Zip...(same as the main WC zip you installed)

CProgram Files\EA Sports\FIFA 2002

That should do the trick.

As for FIFAfx WC patch cinematics, the file should be aiscript.viv under the cmn/fe/ folder
