fifafs Tutorial

Well, as the title says, this is a fifafs's tutorial and could serve to many , as it works (5.3.10 version) for:

• FIFA 2005
• UEFA Champions League 2004/2005
• FIFA 2006
• FIFA 2006 World Cup
• UEFA Champions League 2006/2007
• FIFA 2007
• FIFA 2008
• FIFA Manager 2008
• UEFA Euro 2008
• FIFA 2008
• FIFA 2009
• FIFA Manager 2009
• FIFA 2010
• FIFA Manager 2010
• FIFA 2011

Here the tutorial:

1. Create in notepad a text file.
2. Save it with the name of "Installer.txt".
3. Copy this script into it:
   
   

   set $patch_title$, string{Replace whit Name Patch}
   set $patch_version$, string{Replace whit Version}
   set $patch_author$, string{Replace whit Patch Author}
   
   if $dir_fifa08$ == string{}
   break FIFA 08 it not installed. Patch aborted.
   endif
   
   if exists{$dir_fifa08$\data\fifa.fat} == false
   break FIFA 08 is not properly installed. Patch aborted.
   endif
   
   mountfs $dir_fifa08$\data
   
   ; kits
   -ar|X (Replace the "X" with the number corresponding to zdata. Example: 10) *|c, kits\*.*

4. Save it.
5. Create in another notepad text file.
6. save it with the name of "Launcher.txt".
7. Copy the following script into it:
   

   fifaFS.exe install.txt

8. Save it.
9. Change its extension from txt to bat, must be: Launcher.txt to Launcher.bat
10. Create a new folder and rename it as "Patch" or as they like.
11. Put both files together inside her.
12. Unzip the fifafs.zip in the same folder.
13. Create a new folder within the same folder "Patch".
14. Rename as "kits".
15. Place the kit in .fsh format inside the kits folder.
16. Inside the "Docs" folder is a file called, i have also copied to the directory where is the launcher
17. Run the batch file, and you're done.

IMPORTANT: On some occasions, when we import kits, files:

t75__0_0_xxx.fsh Home Kit
t75__0_1_xxx.fsh Away Kit

Not appear in the game and continue the old kits, I've solved by copying and renaming those files:

t75__20_0_xxx.fsh
t75__21_0_xxx.fsh
t75__40_0_xxx.fsh
t75__41_0_xxx.fsh

And then adding them to the folder and running kits bat again.

Well, im not sure cause im not tried but you can try it:

Create a new folder within the same folder "Patch" and inside make a folder for each player.

Copy this script into notepad file:

set $fifadir$, registry { HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE : SOFTWARE\EA SPORTS\FIFA 08 : Install Dir }

mountfs $fifadir$\data\

fshhashing retrieve_and_random


-ar|X(Example:44) t*.fsh|c , t*.fsh
-ar|X(Example:44) m*.o|c , m*.o

Replace the X

But thereby you add or replace files into zdata X (Example:44).

If you want a replace .fsh textures & .o model of existing players, can try search with FileMaster 08 and find the exact file in the specific zdata. But im not really sure.

Can try it too:

I wanted to make an ACL Patch using leagues from North, West, East and South Africa, but i dont have the south african league.
