Here are a few lines to edit in the soccer.ini -- I havn't tested them out as yet, so it could be a wildcard, but if they do work out ok, it could be worth the tweak ==

Various Cheats
Edit the file soccer.ini with a text editor (notepad on windows) then run the game.

Add the following lines to soccer.ini
Line to Add Result
CHEAT_UNLOCKED_TEAMS 1 Get All Teams
UNLOCK_TOURNAMENT 1 Get All Tournaments
AGGRESSIVE_TACKLE_CHEAT 1 Get Aggressive Tackles
CHEAT_EQUAL_TEAM_STATS 0 Equal Team Stats
CHEAT_RANDOM_TEAMS 1 CPU Picks Random Teams
DEMO_MODE 1 Game in Demo Mode
ONE_ON_ONE 1 One on One Play
PRACTICE_MODE 1 Practice Mode On
AUTO_TACKLING 1 Auto Tackling On
WINDOWED 1 Game in a Window

are there some locked teams and tournaments??? I don't think so

I don't really know, the info that i posted was a pass on that i found in the cheat section at megagames, i didn't engineer that note, so i don't really sweat about it --- In fact i never really sweat about anything that is related to the Fifa games --

The Gamespot.com review said that there are tournaments that can be unlocked.

I dont think that there are tournaments to be unlocked but i will try this cheat and tell you that this worked or not.

i think there is meant to be a space either side of the = sign

ne1 tried them? is there a practice mode (training) afterall?

About the training mode, mate i honestly wouldn't have a clue about what the game holds, you see, i don't mess around for hours on end fiddling and tweaking with those *.ini files --

Tho original post was something that i found and decided tp pass it on to this section of the forum, and now after doing some thinking about it, i wouldn't really have a clue wether or not that it relates to the demo or infact the main release. or in fact if it would even work at all. ----

The practice mode definitly works, you get to play against only the keeper of the other team.

I wouldn't try the one on one though its very crappy, but see for yourself.

Amazing, and the strange thing is that over the past year or so, quite a few of the players here have mentioned and complained about the lack of a training mode in the last few releases, why the hell didn't EA do it in this game before it was released, after all it seems that all that was needed was a quick and nifty edit to that *.ini file. --- and thanks for your reply Snooze. --
