Fifa2002 and/or Windows XP???

Is it possible to run both XP and Fifa2002.................????

just installed XP and was looking forward to playing Fifa with this OS.............but it won´t work.......i was able to install it after I chose to leave the intro-movies from the game....but I couldn´t start the game..............it came up with a classic windows "fatal exception in 432709835266532PHGFDGF" or something like that.........

so anybody got experiences with Fifa 2002 and Xp ????

I went back to Windows ME to make it work, but its annoying that it doesn´t work with XP

I'm using XP and no problem! The first time i install fifa2002 was on upgrade version of XP from Win98, yesterday i formatted my hard disk and fresh install WinXP and also no problem running Fifa 2002.

regarding the error message, i've never encountered any error message while using WinXP, it's supposed to be very stable and reliable and it is(for me).

if you upgrade from earlier version of windows, i suggest try clean installation of XP and see if can run fifa2002. Good luck!

could the fact that I used a NTFS-partition instead of FAT32 make a difference ????

well, maybe but i can't confirm it . i have 2 partitions (drive c: and d: ), i installed all programs including my OS (WinXP) on C: which is ntfs drive ; but all my games are on D: which is fat32 drive.

I don't know if this is the cause - maybe it's just coincident!

well.......It´s a problem getting the game working when the CD is covered with stains.............................sorry bout the inconvenience............got everything working now..........i´m so stupid
