I've been hoping to use the Career Mode editor to turn off first window transfers, but I can't get it to work. I have tried running the tool as admin, regenerating and starting a new career (twice) but I still see transfers happening. I see a 'Doctor++ Productions' screen now when running FIFA (wondering if that is really necessary?), but still no changes in game.

Is there a simpler, alternative way to turn off career mode transfers?

Edit : Found this thread - which should help me and anyone with a similar problem. http://www.soccergaming.com/forums/showthread.php?t=175497

PLEASE GUYS! I WANT TO BEG YOU PEOPLE FOR HELP. CAUSE I REALLY I'M TIRED AND OUT OF OPTIONS.

Since the Demo, i have been trying to make my game work completely Lag free, but to no avail! And i'm sure that my rig can run it very well on Ultra settings. But yet, i can't find the setup to get that. The reason i'm sure is because sometimes, i can play a whole game without lag, then the next game, it starts to lag. Please help me, i have tried everything in the world! I have added snapshots of fifa 13 config and fifa 13 setup in Nvidia control panel. Please some one help me, here or even through teamviewer! I will appreciate it. (For some reason only God knows why, my i5-2430M 2.4GHz runs at 84 degrees + without gaming). Thanks.

Stanley, I had the same problem with FIFA 11. What fixed it? I thoroughly cleaned my PC interior (pulled out my GPU out the motherboard) from dust, and booted up new, fresh Win 7 x64 after. No lags after that. And as you say your CPU reaches 84 degrees I may think your CPU cooler is either not doing proper job or is so full of dust it can't even cool the CPU. Same for GPU. All those stuffs with RivaTuner and some other boosts for GPU can help you a bit, but in overall will not solve the problem. BTW, what is your GPU?

You're on laptop by any chance?

If so your cooler on laptop is broken. It might also be broken core on processor causing high temperature and then you're screwed (bad processor manufacturing. Saw many of those in laptops unfortunately :().

84 degree on idle is VERY BAD.

I got a laptop bro. My GPU is NVIDIA GT 540M. 4GB RAM, 750GB HDD.

Also, i managed to set my Maximum processor state to 70% and Active cooling. Now Its 60 degrees on idle.

Antialiasing Mode - deactivated

Thanks for this bro, i will set and try it. I thought i had to off everything?!

Lock to 60fps? I set it to No limit. :D

Okay, thanks bro. But remember i said i tried almost everything, i have been testing it. So i had used on No limits, 60 and even 30! :D
Appreciate your time bro! Thanks!

Trust me bro! I know 84 on idle is bad enough man! My last lappy didn't even reach 80 while gaming. was 40 + on idle. I went into high performance advanced settings and reduced maximum processor state to 70% and now, its running around 60 degrees on idle. I believe i shud underclock in a different way. Wat do you think?

I am not into underclocking anything ;).

Especially laptops which are slow by nature (yes, those processors called i3/i5/i7 can't be compared to desktop ones).

You have stuttering issues with FIFA aye? It's not CPU problem in most cases.

Try doing experiment. Disable AA in Game Settings. Go to NVIDIA Control Panel -> Manage Settings.

In Antialiasing Settings -> Override Any Application Settings
Antialiasing Mode -> 2x (Multisampling)
Disable Gamma Correction (it's bad idea always :P)

Now in Anizo, User Config/Off -> 4x.

Prefer Maximum Performance, Single Display performance mode.

In Maximum Pre-rendered frames -> Use 3D Application setting.

Apply. Check now.

My end FIFA was stuttering a lot. I set priority to High, replaced replay0.bin file in My documents, etc. Nothing helped.

Then I decided to do what I did in NFS Shift. Load GPU with stuff. Hey, presto, it worked :D.

Smooth gameplay with greater quality...

EA optimization = FAIL.

not entirely true, being a directx 9 game it will be more cpu dependent than gpu dependent.

directx 10 and 11 are more gpu dependent.

ea could have definitely did a better job optimizing the game though.

it may be his cpu, why anyone buys a laptop to play games is beyond me, it is nowhere near the power of a desktop with very limited upgrading potential, silly honestly.

Because i use my laptop for school and i school abroad, not in my country and i have a laptop that is good enough to run the game comfortably, and electricity is not constant wher i stay, the light goes of at any time, sometimes, 1 month, no electricity (true story :P) ANd i'm a student, WHO DOESNT WORK, so i cannot afford to have a desktop back home in my country and in the 'HOSTEL' also. THAT my friend is why i have a laptop i spent ALOT of money on ,and game with it. More reasons?

its clear to me that you have enough money to "school abroad" and can afford to eat and im sure do other things beyond school and fifa.

laptop was your choice, so its your problem, i stated fact, you dont like it get upset with someone else.

Hello stanley,
I agree with cat and info.
First fix high cpu temperature, clean notebook fans and cooling system.
Disable all not required windows services and close all app and software, check your system tray.
Don't play the game or use pc on the bed.
Anyway try also to upgrade your gfx driver (for your NVIDIA GT 540M) to latest version:
GeForce R304 Driver. Version 306.97 WHQL.
http://www.nvidia.it/object/notebook-win8-win7-winvista-306.97-whql-driver-it.html

...a good machine desktop is required for completely enjoy fifa games.
bye bye and good luck with your laptop.

The problem is related to not correct regeneration of data1.bh.
Enable cmsettings with my cm tool (check if forder and file was created on FIFA 13\Game\dlc\dlc_FootballCompEng\dlc\FootballCompEng\data\cmsettings.ini)
Regenetate data1.bh with FHL-BH-Editor or i68Regenerator.
Play a new career and it work perfectly.

bye

Thanks to everyone for requests and pm, will answer later.
Thanks to cat, info, waldo and all the others for sublime support to users into my thread.

News to everyone:
The db & ai is amost ready!
Are you ready for over 15 fouls committed by ai in one match? Finally!
The new gp & ai that come out is completely reworked and different from latest beta testing (info for waldo) - because I have discovered many important gp things during this week.
I can only say that you will see things/situations never seen before.
The game is incredible different and realistic (I say this because it is so).

Now I want to share with a completely new beta tester for one feedback (only for expert fifa players).
Who is available please contact me.
To waldo: I will send later the latest version (I think final).
EDIT: I will check my pm in an hour.

bye
