I have a question. Is there any code to adjust the volume of ball hit? I really want a louder ball hit sound. Thanks in advance.

when i'm playing matches in practice mode with all 11 players on both ends, it doesn't lag at all, even in the highest resolution. but when its time for a game in the real stadium, it lags. can anyone please tell me if there is a way i can make practice games settings to regular games settings? i'm ready to sacrifice a few things here and there for game performance

Try to set camera settings (height/angle) in matches like in training mode. For me, on some camera angles lags are smaller compared to other cams.

Cause it's limited. If I raise the sfx volum, other volume will be raised too.

@bangus. funny, i never had a commentary in fifa 12, i checked and it says "undifined" or something. and @waldo1639, i did fix my angle as high as i could and made it similar to practice mode view. but still it lags. in practice mode, the stadium has lower details too. like no referee, police, cameramen, etc. btw im playing at 640x480 resolution. and oh, the game lags especially when i get to the goal, (at the ends of the stadium). while in the middle of the field, it doesnt lag as much.

In all honesty it sounds like you might want to consider upgrading your PC. I have a very good laptop that plays most games on the higher settings. FIFA was the only game I have that had lag issues, But it wasn't a serious issue, and Fidel's two mods seemed to fix them for me. From the sounds of it, your issue has to do with your hardware and not the game.

Yes, upgrading PC is best solution, but hardware is not always responsibly for lags in FIFA. I have high specs and it still laged like in his game. In the midfield it didn't lag, but when you got close to goal then it did.

Right, I understand that. I'm just saying that at a certain point it does become a hareware issue. And optimizer mods and crowd disable mods aren't going to help. The reason I got my new PC last year is because I couldn't play any new games without some sort of lag or performance issue.

upgrading your pc for a game is a bit ridiculous, especially considering its made by ea sports whos games are always buggy & never properly optimized for any pc.

its your choice whether or not to upgrade, but i wouldnt.

i would kill every process i dont need running, close down all bg applications i dont need running, increase my virtual ram & overclock my cpu slightly & just play.

I think that this is happening because of crowd...when youre close to goal , some crowd is visually and graphically there ...

try to test your pc/game with another statium(which does NOT have crowd so close , the opposite of english stadiums ,) and slowly reach the goal area..

i dont remember stadium names , but i have found some of them in fifa...

Test it and let me know

Yes, I also thought it was because of the crowds, but when I disabled crowd with Fidel's patch it was the same! I actually got rid of the lags, but not for long, cause few days later my GPU broke down (not cause of FIFA), so I currently watch for another graphic card to buy! I'm on my old PC now, which can barely start tetris! When I buy new (but that might not be soon), I'll post how things are.

hey everyone, here are my system details.
windows 7 ultimate
intel family chipset
2.2 ghz
3gb ram
its not a gaming laptop (packard bell brand by the way). and the last game i played on it was devil may cry 4 a couple of years back. so i thought i'd play some new games. dmc 4 ran pretty well. and yes i disabled the crowd and its not as laggy as before, but still shows poor fps. i used the d3d override software too. its a lot better when im playing at some mexican or south american stadiums with low details, even when i bring the ball near the goal. anyways, im not going to upgrade my pc just to play fifa. im getting too old for this anyways. last football game i played was fifa 2006 on ps2. cheers everyone

Ha-ha! Yeah, I hear you. Anyway, I don't see your processor specs. But you have no graphics card, that's a huge negative right there and a big part of your problem without a doubt. My old laptop from 3 years ago had better specs, and I bought a new one this past January in order to play all the new games it couldn't handle anymore.

Just the opposite for me. The default game lagged every game. Since installing Fidel's gp evo 1, optimizer 1 and crowd disable mod, I haven't had any lagging in a couple weeks now.
