Raise the CPU man marking slider. Simple. Some of you need to learn to test things for yourselves instead of expecting Fidel or someone else to fix the game for you.

man marking is already very super funtastic unrealistic, so I wouldnt touch it anymore..

And that's why I'm getting a bunch of CPU fouls and up to 4 CPU yellow cards a game -- because I spend the time discovering how the game programming actually works, not spouting nonsense about arcade gameplay. CPU man marking slider + CPU pressure tactic tweaks = very realistic AND all the fouls you can expect to see, which isn't enough but it's a huge improvement. But you go on sitting around waiting for someone to fix it for you, lol.

actually i find sliders are very intersting guys ..specaily with injuries ... maybe injuries the most slider i use .... but its still intersting

Well, with the CPU man marking slider at default (50), you can dribble from one end of the pitch to the other without the CPU taking the ball away, even on Legendary, and even against the best teams. If that's what you call proper football, then I guess we have different ideas about what "messed up" means, lol.

The CPU man marking slider must be raised to at least 80 (90 is even better) to make the game realistic and challenging. And -- are you listening gibanica? -- if you're at all interested in starting to see that kind of aggressive CPU defensive play that will help create CPU fouls and cards.

I have my man marking slider cranked up but still not seeing many fouls or tackles from the CPU. My next step was to start playing around with the custom tactics for aggression. What values for CTT's are you using for aggression and pressure that have given you good results?

Well, with the CPU man marking slider at default (50), you can dribble from one end of the pitch to the other without the CPU taking the ball away, even on Legendary, and even against the best teams. If that's what you call proper football, then I guess we have different ideas about what "messed up" means, lol.

cpu marking slider doesn't affect AT ALL...i repeat .... AT ALL ... cpu tacking. bye

Hey Kasey. Yeah, the man marking slider helps. The CTT edits help even more. I've set defense pressure and aggression at 90 and higher, depending on the team. Haven't experimented with anything below that yet as I'm still creating custom tactics templates to apply to all teams in the game.

For example, lowering CPU attacking tactics to 25 and having players' defensive arrows all point back toward their own goal creates a beautiful-to-watch defensive ball-possession style of CPU gameplay. It's very cool to see the variation in CPU teams' play that the tactics are capable of creating.
