You need to customize the menu in 3ds max in order to have the buttons.

1- Select customize -> customize user interface, then select the menu tab in the new window;

2- In the left pane of the window click on the "+" next to Maxscript;

3- In the right pane on the "action" window select import cff ascii file and drag it below the "run script" option in the Maxscript submenu;

Do the same with export cff ascii file and save.

When you click on the MAXscript option in the menu bar of 3ds you'll have the import Cff and export cff options avaiable

Thank's man, but maybe I'm so stupid or maybe I didn't understood everything well. but please make a tutorial in png. format file in screen (what to choose and what to push), thank's.

1. I open Autodesk 3ds Max 2012 x64 at the right upper corner i click right button of my mouse then I choose "Customize..." and then in Toolbars at category FIELD I choose "Customize User Interface".
Then I choose Menus and there at the right side push "+" near MAXScript and then in the left side I choose in Action window I should choose import cff but there is not such function, there are only Import BIP Import BHV Import File Import HTR and there are only export file export MassFX Scene Export Selected that's all at which tab and category I should search import and export cff (I'm using 3ds Max 2012), please write everything in details, thank's.
P.S. In my version of 3ds Max in tab "Menu" and in category "Action" there are no "import cff" and "export cff" functions.

The scripts are avaiable in the Fifa 11 Cyber Faces converter folder. If you don't have that, you should download it.

You need a program called Fifa 11 Cyber Faces converter. That program has a folder with the scripts for 3ds max, blender and rhyno.

After copying the scripts into the scripts folder of 3ds max, you'll have import cff ascii file and export cff ascii file avaiable in the "action" window of 3ds

Isn't there another way to change that issue with the hair without having to change the x axis scale? Because sometimes, by changing the scale on that axis the proportion of the face gets messed up (ex: if the player in question should have a slightly large head, like Daniel Carvalho, former CSKA Moscow and now Palmeiras player)

I'm sorry but for now there isn't, couse the match between FIFA faces and FaceGen Customizer can be reached just by scaling up x proportions

Usually the CM preview isn't entirely similar to the actual ingame face, so it's quite normal to notice a difference

thx anyway, man.
Perhaps in these cases testing the tween option in facegen using the model from your first package could do the trick... I believe the other model had a slightly different scale, didn't it?

no problem. Glad to help :)

That differences are due to Cameras, CM series uses a very near perspective view, FaceGen uses both (I recommend ortographic) and FIFA game uses ortographic

du_oro10 any luck with fixing x axis for hair

See mate, I'm workinf in adjust FIFA model without scaling up x axis, but it will take some time. I've also add a jersey bit for better fit with necks. The thing with hairs, I think it will solve with the new incoming model. But when Rinaldo, Ludo or Jorge develop conversors will be easy.

Import face cff and hair cff (convert rx3 to cff with hair editor) in blender...

Link the face with hair and edit the hair...

I think we can't solve the problem with other way...

I've got such problem (I'll post a screen if you'll need them to better understand my problem) - I made Skrtel and Osvaldo head models they look good in FaceGen and look fantastic in 3dx Max but when I import them in FIFA 12 they look like they ate a lot and are 10 kg more fatter and their faces are more rounder and fatter than in FaceGen and in 3dx Max what can it be? (I've tried scale model 0,09500 0,095500 0,096500 but result is the same) they are more fatter and rounder than look in Facegen and in 3ds Max.

Wich camera did you use in Facegen? The orthographic view gives a better idea about the ingame look than the perspective view. Usually it's better to make the face a bit thinner instead of too wide

I've got such problem with FaceGen when I finish photofit and push button "Start Now" and after that photofit should work and generate face but instead of it gives me an internal error and there is a choice to continue or stop working if I continue to work FaceGen works very bad and almost doesn't generate face and gives standart not edited face model. Process of generation is going and face is building and building very well but when there is final result all faces have the same model and doesn't save generated face.

Here what is written in this internal error

FaceGen modeller 3.1 build 5 2005 - Internal Error

An error report has been generated and should be sent by e-mail to Singular Inversions. Please choose send once the email appears.

FaceGen Modeller 3.1 built Jan 5 2005
.\fanWid3dSlave.cpp:844
Home Edition Service Pack 1 (Build 7601)
ATI Technologies Inc., AMD Radeon HD 6500M/5600/5700 Series,
4.2.11318.Compatibility Profile Context

"OK" - continue the program
"Cancel" - stop the program and lose your work.

P.S. First 2 days it was working very well and there was no such error but after some generations and few days of working it gives such error and doesn't work and generate model at all, it gives standart head model.
