FIFA11 - MULTI PATCHES AND MULTY EXE - by diego martiniello

Hello people

i am glad to annouce that i found out how to set multi patches in FIFA11
it means you can create a patch and use your own EXE and own FOLDERS too

so u will be able to have various fifa patches in you computer

all you have to do is....
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
create a copy of "Game" folder form you FIFA11 main directory
in my case it is located into: "CProgram Files\EA Sports\FIFA 11"

now paste and rename it as you want
EXAMPLE: "WC10"

(in case you wanna make the FIFA world cup 2010 patch)


it should look like this
"CProgram Files\EA Sports\FIFA 11\WC10"




REMEMBER: "you CANT use more than 4 caracters"

inside this new folder, take fifa.exe and open it with a HEX EDITOR
once inside
search for this string: "Game\"
and
replace it for "WC10\"
and save it

this new EXE will run the game from this new folder
("CProgram Files\EA Sports\FIFA 11\WC10")

DONE!!!

now you will have 2 fifa into your CPU

with different patches and EXEs

all you got to do is to use each fifa.exe for each case when you launch the game

------------------------------------------------
to have OWN fifa11 documents folder (it menas own saved files for exclusive patches)

open fifa.exe

search for this string "\FIFA 11\"
replace inside (dont add more caracter.... u must respect the number of letters or game will crash!!!

example "\FIFA WC\"
AND DONE!!!!



REMEMBER!!!!

be carefull when you edit the patched directory....
many editor such as "i68 regenerator" of "file manager" will use the main fifa folder (GAME) instead (WC10)

we will need to ask the creators of this tools... to add the option to select the folder you want to edit

No, it's not like kitserver. It's the same method with PES to set different exe for different patch.

but real magic on pes was made by Ariel santarelli, Stelios, ninuzzu,juce, mosu, goldorakiller, sven... etc etc

specially with AUDIO editing (ninuzzu was the key to edit it) he found the big thing

i just completed the investigation

not unless the files have the same name.

Yes man, and OP is not discovering anything special: we already did such modifications to exe and folders in the previous fifas...

but as i did not see this reserch for fifa 11. well, i trayed

me and ariel are argentians....
so it is summer here yet.... so patches and project maybe will delay for somer time

anyway
i am 1000% over fifa this year
i dont even installed pes11 hehehe

i am editting 3d bodys... to correct the weird shape it has
planning to make classics boby too
so this reserch with EXe will be great to make exclusive EXE patches


sorry for the offtopic, but does anyone has the FIFA09 grass patterns? they were nice
i cant find my old fifa09 CD

yup. it's the same work with version switcher except u have many exe and run each of them whenever u like without running the version switcher. Many patchmaker in pes done this for their patch so they have their own exe, maybe it's good idea to have that in FIFA too.

1 question,
I created 2 versions of fifa, one with ETGD patch and renamed game folder to Etgd ... etc and working well.
the other one is for WW national teams patch and kept the folder name as it is "game"
after changing the save folder for WW patch using hexeditor, the game is working with 600 X 800 resulution and I can not change it even in fifa setup .
do you have an Idea how to fix that?
