Actually they do care, but however not every single time that they're online do they check the request thread. By posting in their thread, you decrease your chance of getting your boot made, and any future requests you have, beacuse it annoys the bootmakers and gives them less joy about bootmaking. They only do it to make their game better, and anyone else's, by sharing the boots that they made because they wanted/needed them for their game. By posting in every single boot thread, you are being selfish and you are also postboosting.

If you are really keen to get a boot, why don't you try making it yourself? It's not that hard, you can make what you want/need, and you can send it to a veteran bootmaker for feedback.

I rest my case....:)
