say what you wanna say but fifa IS gettin closer to WE/PES ..period.. this is a good thing for us WE/PES fans.. why ?? It will only push Konami to improve everything about WE/PES.. they must otherwise FIFA will be a best footie game not WE/PES.

So far about FIFA 07:

Game does look good.. much better ball physics.. players seem to be more life-like then ever.. commentary and the crowd + chants + adboards are always superb..

goal nets havent improved..still made out of steel..

grass texture is a thousand times better then in WE/PES...hands down.. pitch seems to be somewhat bigger then in WE/PES.. this could also be a good if not better feature then WE/PES pitches..

I would get FIFA 07 so I can play it online..but I must admit I suck playin FIFA so bad its not even funny..

this is the xbox1 version.
I have played fifa wc 06 on the 360 and the nets are much better. Not of steel anymore. So I think the nets in fifa 07 for xbox360 will be better.

The think i like now about EA is that they are trying to improve, and you can clearly see it in the game. Konami didnt even put much effort in improving the things the community wanted so much in the last couple of years. I hope the fullfill our wishes in the next xbox360 installment.

The commentating is ACE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The chants are ACE!!!!!!!! The body proportions finally look a little better, but the players still look plastic.

And the gameplay looks like its been fixed a lot. It doesnt look like you can pick the game up put it on world class and just win. It looks like its more of a team game and not a dribbling game. I could be wrong but the only way is to wait and play the game. I know I wont buy it until I test it outmyself, or if most reviews give it a 90 or above. peace.

Fifa07 for old gen looks like the same old crap with some improvements. If they made a new game for XBOX360 and later PS3, I wil certainly test it and hope its is better then what we were used too.

Meh, i'm sorry but FIFA is for kids isn't it? Just an arcade game glossed over by swanky licensing and more authentic sounds.

In terms of gameplay PES is light years ahead.

I don't know about you guys, maybe I have high standards, but so far I have never been able to stick with one game for very long, whether it was WE or FIFA just for the simple reason is that both of them have left me something to be desired in the gameplay. Both games are scripted to a certain degree and both do not have the ball physics and player reactions/movement I want in a soccer game (both games work with canned animations). Hopefully the next-gen versions of both companies games will finally take footy a step forward and give it the love it deserves.

I do admit I am excited about what both Konami and EA are doing.

I am waiting to see some videos of fifa 07 for xbox 360... the guys at xboxyde said they have been invited by EA to come see it next week.. so we should see some stuff then
