But WAIT! Brazil beat Haiti and Brazil haven't beaten Uruguay since 1999, that means Uruguay is better than everyone... except Venezuela, Peru and Colombia...

I always say, yo guys ahvent done sh*t in many years and neither has Mexico. Thus we both suck. Then he comes in with his in 1876 we did this and that... no one is denying that, but neither of us has done sh*time.

We hosted the Rio Platense Barefoot Farmers Cup that year. Sadly the Argentines withdrew from the competition and our representatives, the Green Pasture Slaughter House, lost the final to the Sugar Cane Cultivators. Sad times... :(

Colombia won 2 Copa Libertadores (just won the last one)

you SHOULD know better Copa Libertadores is a club tournament where foreigners can play for clubs, so those teams didn't have all colombian players (maybe the first one had).

AND Mexico hasn't play every year in Copa Libertadores, because they are from CONCACAF, so yes Colombia obviously had more chances than any mexican club to win a Copa Libertadores

dude, dont keep bringing me back into this.
Since when is 1876 the same thing as 1970's/80's and (still better in) the 90's?

think your talking about the first half of out history (which is split into 2)

CLASSIC- 1920's-1969 (where uruguay and argentina revolutionized and invented the modern fast touch football) and where.....well we won everything there is to win.

POST CLASSIC- 1970- Present- This is where we stopped being gods and became "human". Also...this is where....well.....we won everything there is to win ....again.

People think that when we talk about history we always mean the "30's-50's"...not true. Sure were proud of that.....but Im also even more proud of how we became normal and modern and still won ....so much ...too much. I dont even consider the 90's ever happened cause really....that was so wierd.

The first half of the 90s we didnt even have European Players cause the coach wanted to have only "domestic" ones...(we all know what happened there:rolleyes: )....Then when the real team DOES show up.....theyr all tired 40 year olds and 98 happened.

1 of the things that I love the most about this game is how anyone can win at any time. It all depends on the style. EX PPL think: IF X beats Y and ......Y loses to O........then X has to be O.......Wrong.
Styles are all different. Thats why Greece can beat France (if they play like in Euro) and they cant beat Italy on their wildest day.

Why Brazil can beat fast attacking European teams (germany, England) and cant beat Paraguay and Uruguay's purposfully slow style that nulifies Brazil's fast attacks........oh...and also their Rough Game. (Lets face it Brazil is really weak against rough teams).

Why Greece would have problems vs. "slow" teams? Greece's style is based purely on waiting for the other team to bombard them with fast attacks and counter attack. If they face Italy.....theyd be completly lost and wouldnt know what to do.

Anyways....dont wanna get too much into that.

If USA and Mexico played in south america they'd make up the 2nd tier (Brazil and Argentina are obviously the top tier) and the rest of the teams would fall in behind.

That's just how it is.

ur helarious.

the list would obviously be like this:

1) Brasil and Argentina
2) Uruguay, Paraguay and Colombia
3) Peru, Mexico, USA and Chile (this is the Concacaf teams on their best day)
4) Venezuela, Ecuador and Costa Rica
5) Bolivia

These guys are so wrong its not even funny (Concacaf ppl). First off you ask them "why"they are better and they reply with "aono......cause we are"....right. If they even had history i might look into them. Not saying their not good.....but seriously. (Costa Rica got brushed off by Colombia in a game that looked Like Germany vs. 6 year old kids <dont need to tell you who was Germany> Imagine what Argentina would have done to them.

If Mexico was looking to beat Argentina....they did it....If they were looking to clearly beat and dominate Argentina enough to say that a "new power" and that Concacaf's true time has come..........hell no.

Uruguay and Brazil went on to prove Mexico they wernt superior (God Bless Montero....My whole house of 20 ppl who came to watch literally Exploded like i never seen before).

God I wish that One day they unite the Copa America and Gold Cup so people can finally put an end to these disputes.
The last Copa America was actually seen as the big fight between the 2 confederations.....thats why Mexico feels so bitter that their one chance (till the next one) was literally destroyed infront of the whole world.

Besides Canada (which i Love).....Concacaf makes me sick to my stomach.

yeah but the clubs still play with their countries style. Also what the hell are you talking about? In South America the teams might have at most 2-3 in their starting lineup from another nation.........it isnt like Milan or Real Madrid that have 90% of their team from far away (and they still play the italian and spanish way).

And its not even all of south america that has foreign players. What about mexico? Cruz Azul has Delgado from Argentina as its main striker.....Toluca has Vicente Sanchez from Uruguay.........Penarol likes to buy players from Africa.......big deal......let them play. Football is the WORLD game is it not?

Your arguing as if Boca had 6 Germans and 5 Brasilians in their starting lineup.

Just because the foreigner players AREN'T from outside SA, don't make any difference. I can say that only Argentina is the one that has fewer forigner in their teams, and even that Boca had or has some foreigner in the starting XI.

AND Milan has Maldini, Pancaro, Pirlo, Inzaghi, Gattuso, Brocchi, Abbiati, Ambrosini, Costacurta, Nesta... UNLESS they have change nationalities without i'm knowing, don't BS others :kader: you know **** about it

I see it like this... (with every team "on their best day")

1) Brasil and Argentina
2) Uruguay, Paraguay, Mexico and USA
3) Peru, Colombia and Chile
4) Venezuela, Ecuador and Costa Rica
5) Bolivia and the rest of CONCACAF

not true... Toluca plays some of the most offensive minded soccer in Mexico, while Necaxa plays the most defensive. Then there are teams that swicth depending if they're home or away (ex Tigres and Monterrey)
