Open FULL UPDATED World Cup PATCH:

This work with or without Origin, just a more basic install with the 2 tools which I believe are causing issues for those of you with problems.

Here is the patch which removes file loader and station tool. This doesn't include all the scoreboards or extra databases or tournament files but those are very small files and will be uploaded later today but I would like feedback if those of you with issue are able to play this with no problems. Read the Install readme and it installs like a normal patch right to your FIFA root directory and then you regenerate.

The Game is fine now but I am dealing with another issue:

I tried a lot of times to change via Rinaldo's Creation Master'14 some players' values, but I always get the following message:
"Unable to open the fifa.fat file".
Please keep in mind that I tried to open C.M.'14 in various game's sectors (like OPEN-FIFA14, OPEN-Select All=>Game, OPEN-Select All=>fiWCdata, etc.) but no result!

Can you please help me ?

it IS the formations then... when it comes to the players placements in the pitch, I saw all my players outside the pitch and after 2 seconds, it crashed! I tried multiple times your method with the DB Master, but I face the same problem over and over again... :/

What db are you editing, please paste the file path of the DB. Better check the default path of Db master when you open it. Its always defaults to FIFA/Game/Data/Db, thats not the directory this patch uses for its db.

I'm not providing support for CM, not trying to be a dick but I posted the safest way and easiest way to edit with CM several pages ago.

I'm trying to fix those of you who have crashes and I'm not spending another week teaching you how to repair a db CM is destroying.

YOU SHOULD NOT BE EDITING THIS PATCH WITH CM FROM THE MAIN INSTALL FOLDER. CM TRIES TO REWRITE MY TOURNAMENT TABLES AND REMOVES FORMATIONS DATA SO YOUR ASKING FOR TROUBLE IF YOU DO THIS.

But one scoreboard - maybe PS3 version, one turfs and adboards, one tour and data, and one kit wrinkle is possible without station tool ?

I can add the rest in separate EXE files so you can switch scoreboards, db's, and tournament files in a matter of seconds and even while in-game but it will be a bit archaic. This upload is the entire patch with the full updated rosters (Not 23 man squads), I will add the rest later if I get good feedback.

I will test it and will tell can you add in this separate exe the choose or not for official badges on kits for all teams too ?

Ok jschuck12001 I installed on a fresh Fifa today and follow instructions step by step clearly, it crashes at the same place.

Now I am going to try with the one that doesn't require origin and post here my feedback

Your editing the wrong db, that will usually cause a problem. In the new station tool it switches Db's so it now uses the databases located in game/fwc tool/DB. You can actually add as many db's into that file path as you like and switch to them.

The old db folder is no longer used so leave the loc but delete the db so you dont get confused. That db is there from the main install so I cant remove it unless I do a new full patch install which is possible but then you have to re-download.

Sounds like your missing default fifa files. See if you can open default FIFA by selecting the db and loc located in FIFA 14/game/data/db and FIFA 14/game/data/loc folders.

Did you extract a clean formations table before you edited the 23 man squad and full squad db? You need to open both db's located in game/fwc tool/DB and extract the fresh formations table for each and dont mix them up.


You can use these as your master files.
