ive have looked at the db & have created the tournament correctly in manager mode but not in tournament mode.

you maybe able to add the data from mm_rtsg to licensedtournaments table w/ excel & add it back to the db & test it.

In my opinion, it might be better just to create the world cup in tournament mode with 32 teams that competed and no new teams and no qualifying stage for the world cup.

It will be simple and great.

there should be a simple WC-tournament in tournament-mode either way i guess. For people who dont want to lay the qualifying stages. So maybe 3 tournaments to choose from. Qualifying alone, worldcup alone, and qualifying+worldcup.

At least, i prefer euro zone qualifiers. However, it is very hard to edit because there were 9 groups in all and especially the group 9 only has 5 teams.

I will be very happy if you add to this patch stadiums from Wc 2010 or turfs, gameplay and camera. That would be fantastic!

Unlucky now, lack some important textures of wc stadiums which don't even exist in pc fifa11

Well as far as the tournament goes, i tested it by changing the values in mm_rtsg using dm11 but still the tournament created in MM doesnt appear in normal tournament mode :(

So here is what i did now ....
I created two tournaments one are qualifiers and other is WC Finals, Qualifiers have 64 teams divided into 8 groups and with 4 from each group to be qualified for WC Finals..but as we cannot link these two tournaments once qualifiers are over you have to note the teams who have qualified and then in WC finals tournament add them and play, OR some one who only wishes to play WC finals can directly start the WC Finals tournaments...
WC Qualifier tournament has only one stage and therefore is over once 14 matches by each side has been played :D

This was the method i was trying to avoid but i guess this is the only option left :/

I'm starting to come to the conclusion that basic tournament mode is really just for creating a quick tournament. It looks like EA sports completely changed the tournament mode and nerfed it.

To uzair's point the only way to do this would be to create qualifiers, play them out, write down who won, and then create a 32 team tournament (in game or in CM11) and manually add the teams.

I think it's stupid and it looks like I'm going to have to stick to manager mode and just shut off the transfers. On a good note I completely removed all references to the league teams and will now attempt to create the actual full world cup qualifications and tournament for every region. It will take a while but I hope I can get it done!!

I think you guys should use regularcats mode (manager mode) and just use a career.ini and put the cpu and player buy and sell values to zero... this is a suggestion. i'm not a crazy modder but yeah thats what i would do....
anyway the trailer looks amazing and so does the patch great job guy!!!
