EA have already made World Cup 98, and World Cup 2002, and in both these years the FIFA game (ie. released before the World Cup) had loads of teams and a world cup qual option, but the World Cup game didnt..And to be honest, that's fair enough. EA take the 32 World Cup sides, add a few unlucky not to be there, in regions where the game sells well (sides like Ireland are likely in this version), and they concentrate on making a really accurate World Cup Finals game, rather then puting time and effort into qualification which would mean nothing would be quite as 'spot on'...

This does mean tho, all stadiums, kits etc will be 100% official, and everything will look spot on and real...Presentation for previous World Cup games has been awesome IMO...

Anyway, this isnt going off any facts, its just the obvious conclusion to arrive at based on previous years...This is the World Cup game, not the RTWC game ;) And since the Euro game had quals there is a slight chance this'll be in, but I very much doubt it...The game will be about the World Cup finals Im guessing...Euro is different, there is far less sides in qualifying, and the qualifying is less complicated...

I remember that the kits in WC 02 for the USA team weren't the ones used in the real tournament, ea really needs to fix that. I had to download a patch to put the right kits in the game. it was good, but not awesome.

I made the qualification stages for CONCACAF in one of my patches, and the WC. All EA would have to do is to connect the two. They can do that, not too complicated.

Plus a friend of mine did the same thing inside career mode of 06, so that's not an issue.

qualification doesn't have to be more detailed. Just existing. Plus I have a feeling that this years game is going to include qualification for two reasons:

1. Euro 2004 had it
2. They didn't include in Fifa 06, which the did with fifa 02.

I meant when comparing WC 2006 (DVD) to WC 2002 (1 CD), when there was only like 40 teams :jap:

3. Will the free kick system from UCL/FIFA 05 be re-introduced?
4. Will Danny Issac be the producer of this game?

when i saw the producer movie of RTWC2006 i have put in my mind "another time this gay? more bugs? omg" more days later, when pro gameplayers test game i listen... GAME ISNT GOOD TOO MANY BUGS AND BAD GAMEPLAY... and i laugh a lot DANNY ISAAC DO NOT RULEZ :( I WANT THE PRODUCER OF FIFA2002/WC2002/2003 or PES (is one dream for fifa LOL)

FIFA 05 free kick system is slightly better than 06.

Has Danny Isaac had something to do with the free kick system implemented on the FIFA game ?

Well he was the producer of those game so he had oversight over what was being implemented into FIFA 05, as was Ricour with 06

I honestly thought that the xbox360 Fifa 06' was it for the year and that there wouldn't be another Fifa specific World Cup game for the next Gen console until Fifa 07'. It is called "Road to the world cup." Plus where the hell is all the info?

-redo free kick system, stiff player penalty graphics (corners are ok)
-improved ball physics (more realistic, maybe ball bounce/speed slider)
