I don't usually complain. I'm now beginning to feel let down by EA. They should be aiming for the future, not living in the past. And also why do they create amazing stuff for a platform most of us will have to pay another £280 for (or whatever equivalent). Why not on the PC where most of the original fans of the game lie... if there are any left...Tomba said:wow you complain, but you're right EA are lazy
good for you, i don't have to know all this ****, i've the demo too..INFESTA said:After a couple years without trying EA Sports FIFA series here's my in-depth analysis.
Played 8 matches. Here's what stands out:
- this game effectively recreates real-life defensive tactics. Of the 1950's. Players don't defend. They hang around. That LB patiently stands there watching his CB face the striker without making an attempt to pressure of, I don't know, get the ball back or something.
- ball physics is perfect. If you're playing in the moon.
- Through-balls. A good run to meet a clever pass makes all the difference in modern football. In a terrific effort to recreate football as it is, through-balls also make an impact in FIFA World Cup 06. Every time you try them. (That Rio Ferdinand just can't learn anything, can he?)
- 1-1, last seconds of the match, I make a through-ball to Ronaldo and - surprise - he's immediately free, without anything separating him from the goalie, and he runs, runs, reaches the top of the box and... the game is over. Over and out of my computer.

And do you even know what a nerd is? I tell you: it's a 15yo kid who gets upset because someone writes on an internet forum his fave footy game sucks.
Why don't you grow up and try rebutting my comments on the game instead?
