Fifa vs Club Football

It will be interesting to see how Club Football from Codemasters stacks up against Fifa and PES2.

So far it looks ok eye candy wise, but the gameplay will be the crunch. It is a good concept in that you can become part of one of the big european sides.

I tried to look at the Arsenal PS2 screenshots on the site, couldn't download them, so I looked in their download dir, and downloaded the Liverpool screenies, they are there for most of the teams, so here is one of Hyypia:

I downloaded the Arsenal ones, they look pretty much the same...

Picture perfect faces, the only problem is that it's basically half-life quality player models (IE not good)...

The satdia look absolutley amazing tho :)

I think the player models look ok, it will depend a lot on the gameplay, and I think it will be hard for them to get that right first up.

It would be nice if they can take the best aspects of Fifa and PES.

The stadiums movie does look very good, a bit over the top with their operatic music score.

The best part about it is that it's another footy game that will push the envelope for the competition.

Anyway the game looks ok, but it won't challenge fifa in my opinion!

re your eye candy! It was about 6 or 7 months ago I heard an Interveiw on RadioClyde's football program, in it a woman was talking about how she had been to Ibrox to take pictures of the Rangers team for a upcoming new PC football game Club Football she discribed how many photos were taken of the players front back sides and top ( so baldies beware ) and how these would be wrapped around the players frame in the game. I can't remember if she said that they took motion shots of each player too , to get a individuals style of run. I remember her saying thousands of shots were taken. I don't care who make the greatest football game as long as the gameplay is dam as near the real thing I'll buy it I don't care if it's EA Sony Codemasters or anyone else I just want to play a game on my PC as close to the real thing as you can get!

Sorry to say this but it's not coming out on PC, they canned that idea, now it's only out on consoles.:(
