fifa soccer 2004 is all english

one of the major things that piss me of about fifa soccer is the fact that it’s all based on english premiership. when i play any games in fifa 2003 games, stadium fans are all the same and they look more if not completely like the english fans. if you play a match england v spain and look at all the fans in stadiums they all look the same left and right and wherever you look. why isn't fifa doing something about this because i think they is clearly a huge difference in teams supports especially if you think of

italian supporters for example

when i watch a match milan versus juventus you will see different shirt colours because it obviously reflects their teams shirts. they have huge flags which they bring to stadiums and they stretch through half a stadium and they use many flares. this is the difference where you don't see this in english premier league and i'm not saying that english fans don't bring flags to matches they do but they look different. why this can’t be reflected in fifa soccer

spanish supporters

when you watch spanish fans during a match they stand and they jump and they're not facing one way all the time. also their flags should be reflected accurately in fifa soccer and fans should be dressed so that we can actually say yeah that is this team’s supporter and that isn’t. why it is whichever teams score a goal the whole stadiums celebrates. There should be section where only fans who celebrate are of those teams who scored the goals and see others who do not celebrate.

to just name a few above i think ea should try to represent fans more accurately and this is definitely missing from fifa soccer

These are things I'd love EA to work on when the gameplay and interface have been (nearly) perfected.

But until then, I couldn't care less.

If this really pisses you off you're either looking too hard for faults in the game or aren't playing and enjoying the game as it's intended to be.

The thing that tickles me about the spanish fans, especially Real Madrid, is when they boo their own player for not playing great, they're crazy. Each countries supporters are very unique. whenu watch a spanish game u'll notice there's always niose of somesort, flags everywhere and flares also. Each domestic competition should have their own style supporters to characterise each league, and would add for interesting sounds i Europe when the crowds come together. Never watch many german matches so I wouldnt know whatbthey're like but im sure it's easy enough to differenciate bewtween England, Italy and Spain to start off with

Of course those would be nice touches to the game overall, but man there's still such a long friggin long way to go with improving gameplay that it'd be criminal to address these concerns anytime soon.

Who buys a football game because they want to look at the stadiums and fans , gameplay and graphics should always be more important than having accurately replicated fans

Yeah, i think that Bih is asking for too much perfection. And this things are purely secondary, because they can even have one difference face and body for each one of the 60,000 supporters that go to a stadium, but if the game play sucks.......the stadium crowds will suck too.

one thing that EA could do is different goal celebrations sounds. for example spanish and portuguese crowds don't scream "yee" but "gol" and "golo". i think it's simple...

Its very funny in FIFA 2003 when you agressively tackle the goalkeeper when he is in posetion of the ball. The ref will hardly shows a yellow card, when in the real life it is red card directly.

The best defender:
When an enemy enters you half of the field, you can activate the goalkeeper to go out and look for the ball. The goallkeeper will run all the way from the goal, to the player who have the ball. He will take the ball, even doing and horrid fault, but the ref will not do a thing :)

of course, dont do this in a serious game, because youll be punished for that stupidity :P

Well, lets take old trafford for an example. When it is Man utd against real madrid, there ARE madrid fans and you CAN tell a difference. Each stadium has an away section, weather or not you can see it every game is a different story, but that is a camera issue not a crowd issue.

You whiners and bitchers need to shut up and stop nit-picking at the most simplest and insignificant things. I read up and down through this forum and see people bitching about boots, grass, mude, weather, goal-nets, balls, and other crap. Get over youselves.

yea though the game should be the best game that came out of fifa series every year, people need to take it as it is.......a game! i cant see the game being as realistic as many people want but if u dont like it dont buy it...there are far too many complainin threads

i agree the game is way too english.. I mean.. all the menus in english.. the commentary is in english.. whats up with that?

They must had at least 2 pair of commentarists more.

One italian, english and spanish couple.

An option to change languages :)

this is a good idea, but i think this is not the best time for making a great fan section.. most sports game have mediocre fan sections, and it shows that fans are not what u looking at.. EA have to fix more better stuffs, and when its all done, then the fan sections wil be touched

but i agree with the commentary.. there should be an option where you pick the spanish, english or french
