Fifa on the PC

i'm thinking of getting fifa 06 on the PC. i've been playing fifa on the consoles for quite some time now but my brother "owns" all of the consoles and it is hard for me to get some playing time in. So I was wondering how the playing style is on Fifa 05.Are the controls hard if your playing on the keyboard? Would you suggest me getting a controler,if so what kind? Thanks in advance since i know the new fifa won't be out for a while

Yeah mate, get it on PC, so you can edit the game, and get the EA kits off and put some quality ones in there, Logitech make some good gamepads. I still use the keyboard the controls are pretty easy, you can customize it of course.

Definitely get a gamepad, it makes it so much easier, logitechs seem to be the most compatable with FIFA, that's what I got.

yeah, maybe you should try PC version. furthermore, you can add kits, create club and modify it. the control are changeable, but for me keyboard is easier than gamepad.

Agree upstairs, keyboard is much easier than gamepad. The difference is I can make precisely-controlled movement cause the direction is controlled by 4 fingers instead of 1 big thumb.

Not sure how difficult is it to do off-the-ball tricks though. I've never been able to master it!

Yeah, having a gamepad makes it 10 times easier but the logitexh gamepads i have owned all go to sh*t after like 2 weeks. The analog stick stops working correctly and you cant move your players. but other than that way better than the keyboard.

FIFA 2006 will come out late october or early november
