I have two questions

Will there be a training mode in Fifa 2003?

Will there be a World Cup finals mode in Fifa 2003?

Thank you.

That doesn't make much sense does it :monkey:
Perhaps you can explain in greater details.

If you opened your eyes wide enough and read the various interviews posted here, you'd have known that in 1 or 2 of them, the interviewee stated that there won't be a training mode because of the rewritten engine. This means the AI has been revamped. Ball physics ... EVERYTHING. Which means, to program a training mode, it just wouldn't be feasible because of time constraints. The interviewee also stated the training mode might return in FIFA 2004, when EA will almost indefinitely slack off if FIFA 2003 is successful

Now, is that clear enough an explanation for you to post on soccered.com ?

Sorry mate, I forgot about it. :)
But what's so difficult about making a training mode. All the dead ball situations already have been programmed.
All they have to do is the remove all the players from the other team and let your sub. GK be the opposition GK.

Nah but that will juz be wasting space now wouldn't it? And also, it isn't as easy as it seems it would to program the training mode.

BTW, if you're from Singapore, why don't u check out #FIFA in irc? =)

I beg to differ...There is a screenshot floating around of Michael Owen dribbling around cones...as if he was "TRAINING"

who knows though...I hope so...training should include:

-One on one dribbling (for offender and defender)

-5 different passing modes (one two's, leading players, etc)

-Dead play control (corners, free kicks)

-Pk

-G'keeping (if there's an 11 on 11 allowed in this game, you should be able to master the skill of goalkeeping)

-breakaway (vs goalie; vs one d and goalie; vs two d and goalie)

-free play

-and whatever else u guys think of

I don't agree. Programming a simple training mode (like in the past or winning eleven) would be fast. If the developers wants to implement a new way of freekick or shooting, they should include the training mode.

I don't go irc anymore. ;)

What I've heard is that Fifa wasn't going to have a training mode. But in PES2 there would be many training situations and U even can develop the players with the training . that's fantastic. i'm going to buy PES2 for sure !

**** no training mode, those guys at EA sucks they keep ripping our money with awful refresh every ****ing year. I mean FIFA must be the most sold game ever (They must have made millions with just stupids gfx updates.). Come on whats so difficult? If they cant make it on time well release it on the next year but make a real good soccer game. BUT NO THEY JUST WANT TO KEEP ****ING AND RIPPING OUR MONEY. Who the ****s need every year to buy a new football game (if you keep your teams up to date and the gameplay rocks). This releases are gettting more REDICOULUS!. Im very skeptical to all this PR BS!, its same BS as every other realased. The last good FIFA was 99 but its been 3 years of ****!.
