fifa menu problem

hi people, i m having problem with fifa games' menus the menus are so slow and i cant do anything probably in game but in the game i can play it in 1280-1024 high resolution without any problem. my system is

1024 ram
3.00 ghz pentium 4
8500 512 mg gforce graphic card

can anyone solve this problem. it is being only in vista. i used xp before i hadnt got any problem

The most obvious thing to do here would to either reinstall xp, which would also increase the gameplay quality and realism as VISTA IS S*** (yes I tried it and blew £300) or you could just use a multi system program that allows you to run you pc on vista or 'previous versions' being xp .

Fifa is always laggy in the menus, it was last year too. Switching back to XP is foolish and something everyone uses as a crutch. Vista is new software, but ironically, I have not had any issues with it which some searching and driver updates didnt fix. You I have a similiar system, but mine is 3ghz PIV, 8600 GT, 2047 RAM, etc. You should upgrade your ram to at least 2gigs (specially since Ram for your system, like mine, is dirt cheap). If you paid $300 for Vista thats your own damn fault, you should have got the upgrade for $150, which if u were patient and searched the net before blowing money, you would see allows you to do a full install after formatting the drive. Dont go back to XP.

I am using Vista Home Premium and have an nVidia card. Switched to the 163.44 drivers and menus no longer lag and operate as they should.
