Would everyone PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE stop asking him when CM08 is going to be released. I'de prefer he not have an overwhelming desire to jump off a building before he finishes.
You gotta give him time so expect it in December sometime. If it comes out sooner you'll be surprised and happy :amika:. If it comes out later, you've learned the value of patience and you can wait a little longer

Most certainly. I already have a development version that copes with the new layouts etc. but I am working on a few version specific fixes and changes (like handling the friendly matches, user modified formations, and possibly the training info). I only received a copy of the game last Friday (thanks to Dave Witts of Sweetpatch, because I wasn't going to bother unless someone bought my son or me a copy as a present) but every important aspect that I've checked thus far (including overall calculations and player growth) is unchanged from FIFA 07.B9Goal;2424317 said:

Steve, you are absolutelly right and that was the reason I stopped making mods for EA's F1 Challenge as well. People expect you to work day and night for them. And if you don't do it fast enough or to their liking, they always complain and criticize you. meanwhile, no one else even attemps to create their own stuff or modify their game on their own.
People who create editors, patches and mods, do it as a hobby. Familly and work always come first. And even when spare time is available, there are always other things that need to be done in one's life.
Everyone just needs to relax and learn to modify their game some other way. I'm new to Fifa but in a week I've already learned to make kits, import adds, faces, turfs, and editing the fifa database. Where there's a will, there's a way.

Amifla, my friend, all I was saying that all these begging posts for Rinaldo were unnecessary. We all want to see CM created this year but we have to wait and respect Rinaldo's wishes. Begging will not be the answer.

Mate, yes, he doesn't owe us anything, but I think he must keep us updated once he gets everybody's attention about this. he can't just tell everyone he will do this and suddenly vanish. At least he should come back and tell us he dropped the project, so we can stop wondering.

The players is totally re-arranged with new columns. If Rinaldo's program is adding to specific columns, it can't work. Sorry.
