Gameplay shows massive difference (never used dbs before). The problem is that all the players track back to defend even if they are in need of a goal or something. I think it's related with the Def Work Rate being high. What it does is that when possession changes hands in the final third, the opposition launches a counter attack. Regardless of mentality, this has become common. So, a possible work around is changing the work rate values for certain players who play in certain positions. And also, seeing the overalls as 60s and 50s, annoying! Everything else is great. Tight marking, um, yummy.

I need to keep defensive workrates high, but I can raise attacking workrates. Low overalls can't be changed, bro, without messing up the db.

Sliders for marking certainly are not needed with this. marking is pretty tight, line Height and line length / width on the other hand do help to spread play, keep team tight (back and forthe) and also line height set lower (40 or so) just helps for defence to be back in the right place, and just helps this DB, but it doesnt need much anywhere else unless its just personal pref.

Andrea I PM'd you, I wasn't sure my latest DB test ramblings would make any sense in the thread :)

Whole team now defense better, that's it. But in the expense of attack. As Torpedo said, teams are much in the back. Build up play is in the AI's half or center, often builded from defenders. Pushing everything more up front, towards my goal would do the trick. But then again I know you'll lose "compact whole team defending" you have now.

Increasing attackingworkrate definitely helped bring up 5-8 players. I'll tweak this and release 2.0 today, hopefully.

The CM works, but here are some player prices, which are somewhat off :D

So you got default starting money, but higher Buying Prices, and no one can't buy anyone, except for Real,City or PSG..
I put Gotze on transfer list and Real M bought him for 88million, so right now i can't really buy anyone because they are all in 30mill range, and starting money is low for most of the team, like BVB who got 18mill

I did. Now everyone has 1-2 workrate instead of 0-2. Play more one two's and look for space to make a run. It's all tactical. Anyway, there are still a few things for me to try.

AP, finalized product.ini yet? If not could you look into the player positioning problem. What I want to see is when players are wrong positioned the whole team must underperform. It's visible but is shallow now.

You obviously need to increase the difficulty level. I'm playing on legendary: after 8 minutes of my first game, the CPU is outshooting me 11-0.

About workrates:
0 is Normal
2 is High Workrate
1 is Low Workrate
