About the world cup It really depends on the group we are getting into
1998 we were with morocco they were one of the best in this time
2002 we got with Senegal & morocco (Diouf & Hadjii)
2006 Côte d’Ivoire & Cameron (Drogba is enough) By the way we beat the cameron on our home and got tie away

No offense but some teams in 2006 had no right to go (Angola,trindad,Tunis, KSA,....)

I was thinking the same thing... But we may have not beat Inter, but we played an amazing match and had the vast majority of the chances... We looked so "international" :)

It's a change since there hasn't been much of a competition in Egypt/Africa... Sometimes I think Al-Ahly should be "exported" to Europe and start playing with real competition...

Hope we get the Bronze...

This is what happens for allowing CONCACAF their own representative (when they also compete in the S. American tournament) <if they didnt it would be fair..............cause this is like having River Plate lose in the Semi finals of Libertadores and yet a week later face : "Deportivo Sarprisa" from Costa Rica, win 5-0 and go to the World Club cup.............just unfair.



A Sports Ilustrated writter in USA put it perfectly last year when he said: "It's like seperating the Champions League and a small tournament for Eastern Europe.............and then acting as if they are on the same level when they go to the Club world cup"

4-0? (And especially after it was stated that 80% of Barsa was really suffering from extreme Jet lag <Ronaldinho DIDNT SLEEP before the game <yes 48 hours awake>) . It .....it really says alot.

Concacaf cup should be intergrated into Copa Libertadores (and Gold cup into Copa America too)

Although Barça may seem to have some adventage, due skill, this will be a promising final, i don't mind either side winning, hopefully it'll be a good match.

Ah yeah pasion1, to my understanding, if a mexican team wins the Libertadores, they wouldn't qualify to the WCC, just like it was years ago with the Intercontinental.

The time I got the most pissed was watching the Copa America PReview (2004) in Univision. They're reviewing all the nations:

Argentina: 14 veces campeon: CANDIDATO
Brasil: 6 veces: SUPER Candidato
Mexico: 2 SUBcapeonatos <todavia lo dicen como si fuera bueno>.......SUPER Candidato (me queria morir)

Hahaha ... i watched the game on Televisa Deportes, and of course they were like that, or much confident that they were going to win.

They just thought America was like Boca Juniors or something ... well, maybe like the Boca who lost against Estudiantes :p

lmao.....Boca is just funny now.
I hear that they're planning on having River Plate transfer their "Gallina" name to Boca finally (River was first called that after the famous 66 Libertadores loss vs. Penarol)..........but i'd say this might be worst (losing 3 games in a row)
