ran through this and worked on the first go, phenomenal work to all involved.
I am wondering how hard this would be to adjust though? There's some inaccuracies in how things work so I was wondering if they could be fixed?
For example:
CONCACAF Champs League is given to:
Top 4 from MLS, Top 4 from FMF, Top 4 from each CONCACAF Leagues.
In real life it's (more or less):
Top 3 from MLS, US Open Winner, Canadian Champ Winner, 4 from FMF, Rest from Central America.
Is it possible to do it that way? Using the US Open and ACC as ways to get into the tournament instead of just top 4 in MLS?
For the US Open...
It was changed from taking 16 predetermined MLS teams to the top 16 MLS teams from the previous year. I believe this should be reverted as the US Open is only for US teams, so those 16 MLS teams (excluding the created NY Cosmos) should be the field for the US Open. Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver shouldn't be involved as they have the ACC.
I can't imagine you can negate Canadian sides from earning berths in the CCL by placing top 4, if that is possible though it would be neat.
Also would be cool to have the NASL, so a team like FC Edmonton can't qualify for CCL by placing top 4 in the CONCACAF League A.
Another take on this could be changing the CCL to the newly changed 24 team format coming with the 2012/13 edition of the tournament. Not sure if that's feasible either but thought I'd mention it.
Just thought I'd share in case it is unawares to the development team. Thank you again for this work though, I've done nothing but play FIFA all weekend.
