I mean both. I haven't been able to master the game at World Class on the PC and the 360 demo is hard because you can make even the semi-pro level hard by totally removing all passing assistance. If somebody can truly dominate every team in legendary mode on the 360 with passing assistance turned off then I'm seriously surprised!

Seriously mate, it doesn't take long to figure out patterns and flaws of A.I. in the demo, and find ways to exploit them... I'm sure that after more time spent with it you'll figure it out as well...

I so want this game to be damn good, but the demo isn't up there. It's "good" but that's it... After the dust settled down and "wow" factor is gone 360 version plays more and more similarly to WC 06...

Even disregarding my ways of exploiting the A.I. and trying to play "normally", i.e. avoiding shooting from half circle at the edge of the box, the gameplay still has serious flaws to be called "next-gen, 2 year engine written from scratch"... because there's very few things that have been written from scratch in this version besides player animation and physics... but that doesn't complete the picture of realistic football game...

Passing assistance turned off, does make things harder, but not more realistic... It actually starts becoming annoying that a player 5 meters away can't receive the ball because every pass is too strong... etc etc etc...

How is it more realistic???

It would be more realistic if it was pressure sensitive etc... but not like this... I tap the button and it rockets around the pitch...

Compared to the arcadey NHL 2K7 I believe EA is heading in the right direction.

PhilH930 & others: In the right direction??????????????????????????????????????
How long is the journey? Where are they going? To outer space? I am up to my ears with this cliche: "Fifa is headed in the right direction" WTF? With all the money in the world, they cannot get to their destination? Every year it's the same quote: "Fifa is headed....... PES has arrived in the direction fifa is trying to reach years ago! I mean, how much more slack are you gonna cut EA? I bet you when I'm 40, I'll hear, "Fifa is headed in.......

Well, I'm sorry but Fifa have had ample time to get there. They keep churning out inferior gameplay, gimmicks, etc. I had high hopes from this 360 version and so far 80% of reviews, previews have been negative. That's enough for me. They should get their sh!!te together and make a game as good or better than Konami's.

My post didn't post, yet you were able to quote from it! Strange. Without the full post its hard to defend the one line you quoted.

But, what I was focusing on was how Fifa 07 360 feels more like a simulation, rather than an arcade game (which other fifa games feel like). This comparison was evident with the recent NHL games, where EA came out on top.

This movement to a realistic simulation is the right direction, as opposed to an arcade style which in my opinion is standing still. The reason they are not there yet is simple; there is always room for improvement. Thats what keeps them going.

In my opinion its the best football game to date, but thats, just an opinion. I don't want to be personal, so don't go getting defensive, but really if you don't like what Fifa 07 360 is then don't buy it, don't worry about posting about it and find an alternative game to play. Its that simple!

I now see what you did, replied with a quote from me in mutliple threads! That can be confusing to others as they don't get to read my full piece.
