Fifa 2005

This thread will be about the things we'd like to see in FIFA 2005...not a place to whine and moan about everything that you hate in FIFA 2004 (for that, go to the disappointment threads)

Starting it off....
1) More leagues should be added. Personally I'd like to see the Greek and Hungarian leagues included, but other possibilities could be the Argentine, Mexican, Japanese leagues, ect. This gives the game alot more depth, esp. since Western Euro. leagues buy players from those leagues alot.

2) In keeping with that, more NTs should be included too. It doesn't have to be everyone down to Mauritius and Andorra, but there are some NTs that deserve inclusion

3) Please please please include a World Cup...at least. What's a soccer game with no World Cup? And while they're at it, CL, UEFA Cup, and Euro 2004 tournaments should be included as well

4) Add weather effects and have them influence how the game's played. A little realism never hurt anyone

5) Please please please include a creation center with the game this time. 'nough said.

6) Bring back the pass indicator...I always liked that feature and it helps alot with setting up plays...it could even be an option that could be turned off

7) An easy to use interface...although anything would be better than the one in FIFA 2004

8) A deeper career mode, one that includes contract offers, loans, and NT call-ups (maybe you could even be an NT manager). This years was alright, but it could use some help. I won't miss prestige points either

9) A more active crowd. If the home team scores, have 'em shoot off some flares or something. A really cool addition would be if they went crazy for a rival team, throwin stuff down from the stands, causing some real rucus, stuff like that...I'm not demanding it or anything, but it would be pretty cool


So that's the most I can come up with now....any things you want to see in FIFA 2005? (Again, don't use this thread to just b!tch about FIFA 2004)

why do sooooooooo many ppl keep making these threads.....fifa 2005 isn't even the next game by EA, it's gonna be Euro 2004....so after Euro comes out, and everyone is bored of that, and EA start production on fifa 2005.....then a mod will create a forum for fifa 2005 and u can put this there........

A few things I'd like to see in Fifa 2005

1) More International Teams! We still haven't seen Wales in Fifa for a very long time!

2) Ability to call up any player not currently in the squad to the national team.

3) Bring back the Custom League/Tournament Option.

4) Special "unlockable" teams, like World XI etc, like we had in Fifa 2000.

5) Far too many players running offside, need AI to improve.

6) Players need to make more intelligent passes and shots, again need to work on the AI.

7) Some of the faces were more realistic in WC2002 and Fifa 2003 than they are in Fifa 2004.

8) I agree, the menu system is terrible in Fifa 2004.

9) Ability to avoid team kit clashes, you may have noticed in Fifa 2004, if you accidently pick 2 kits that clash, you can't go back to change them. You have to exit and restart the match, and this isn't possible in Career Mode. (As you lose 2 - 0)

10) An ingame editor should be made available rather than a separate creation centre.

11) Referee AI needs to be improved. Referees are letting off far too many fouls and giving fouls when they clearly are not fouls.

12) Whatever happened to the snowy, ice, raining weather effects? We never get to see the Orange ball nowadays!

13) Add some kind of International, European, Club tournament. If not the official named tournament, at least something similar.

14) Some extra cinematics as a bonus would be nice (Injured players being strectered off, physio's running onto the pitch, players shaking hands as they are substituted, some reaction from the dugout too would be nice.

15) Better music, the last few Fifa games have had some terrible music!

My big issue is Career mode

-Extend to 10 years
-If you don't get the requirments, you will get fired and will have to look for a lower class mode
-Give a little sympathy to the best teams, I played 1 year in Germany and Bayern Munich came last with 9 POINTS. Make sure they atleat come in the top ten
-Allow to Transfer from South America
-More realistic crowd control
-At end of year, their should be like a page where you can view all the final standings of all leagues
-Transfered players actually play for the team
-Allow other teams to transfer with each other
-Better celebrations, I hate them, I work so hard to win the league or cup and all I see is a little jump and then a 7 player pose with no trophy
-Adding Intercontnental Cup would be coo
-other teams play their best players
- more injuries
-computer subs in the game
-Make teams with generica stadiums are more suitable (no english side would have a stdium with a track around it **NEWCASTLE**)

Sub Category = Champions cup

first of all, sort the bloody teams, the point of the whole thing is to play teams u have never played before, not from your own league. Second, if u win the group, u can't play the first place team of the group right beside u. Agaim, give sympathy to the good teams, Real Madrid will be there 9 times out of 10. Make the scheduale real, u don 't just keep playin a team 2 times in a row except for the middle leg.
