-How about some African/Asian/Oceana clubs.

Agreed! I have never seen any clubs of South Africa in the history of FIFA and this year even our national team was left out!:f***: I don't see a reason just taking them out of the game.

This may not seem like a big deal but I thought the whole saving games and tournaments this year just took forever to save..u had to save it like 3 times until it said saved in the save section. So make the saving a little less complicated and when you show the starting line up show the starting 11 not starting 9 or 8 cause its annoying scrolling down.

I have never had any problems with saving (except replays). And yes the menus HAVE TO BE CHANGED. Its very irritating sometimes. :kader:

Axelforce, its interesting that South Africa have been left out. I was part of the team who did the African squads, and i'm certain that not only was South Africa discussed, but a squad with all details was created. I hadnt actually noticed that SA werent in the game, but i'll have a look when i get home.
EA really cocked up Nigeria's team. I made the squad for Nigeria but......how on earth they put Okocha as no 23 i'll never know. The man is famous for wearing no 10 and no 10 only, throughout his whole career. They got the lineups, formation and positions totally wrong aswell. The only thing they actually got right was the squad.

Dani04, some great suggestions. Especially the African/Asian/Oceanian club point.

Well that's EA... Always messing up things. Eagle Winged, did they mention bringing African clubs into prospect maybe in Fifa Football 2005? It would be great for us Africans, we never get any of our clubs in the game. :kader:

I played the demo alot and about 5 games the full version. This is what I have noticed. Gameplay needs to be fixed alot.

1. The passing is like a pinball, they can steal the passing from PES.

2. EA listen, a player can't score 80% of the time from 30 yards, please fix it. But make sure the long range scoring is still there though, don't take it away like you guys take out some good stuff.

3. How come you guys can't get the lobbing right in this game? The physics of the ball is not right at all. I mean when I lobb the ball to another player, the ball itself curves and its not funny at all. Again copy PES.

4. Hmmm this year you guys have included the headers congradulations, but what happend to the 1vs1? fifa 2003 had it and I remember you could chip the ball in to the net, but EA forgot it this year.

5. EA please take a look at a real soccer game and if you can notice the net movement physics, you will noice how unrealistic the nets in fifa 2004 are.

6. The CPU attacks the same way and plays the same way, the CPU needs to be more creative so the game actually would feel like a real soccer game. At the moment its soo dumb.

Thats it for now, but there are alot of importand things to be fixed, like the players gets tired very fast.... and so on, I didn't play that game alot to notice all that.

one very sick but very unlikely feature would be to include puddles of water in the field when it rains so that the ball could actually get stuck, but would make it impossible since ea would completely blow such a thing out of proportion

Passing does need some work.
How about a music centre - like the maddens, you can import you own mp3's into the folder for listening.

Something that has to be added is just a better creation centre. One that we can design our own kits, by using drag and drop, sponsor names, badges, and even logos and fonts, colours, etc.

And when creating a player, please have some generic names for the commentary, even the Rugby 2004 has this, and that game is garbage. That way we can choose a name for ourselves and the commmentator can say it.

more to come surely...

this is the type of thread that ea need to look at, and use next year! if only ea opened an official thread for users to suggest things, then they can answer as to whether they can use it or not. maybe ea can make a game the user would be proud of, because their suggestions were included. it is true to say that all suggestions above would make ea the number 1 football game ever!!

I'm planning on emailing this through to them sometime soon.

Did you know that after my first season with Celtic, I sold all my players during the season and mounted up 63mil, only to have the stupid game reset this to 10mil the following season, what the heck is that about, money can't be carried over?

Can EA fix this or what? What's the point of struggling all season with junk players, selling your stars and then you can't even save your money to buy an awesome team???

Is this just me?

I would like it if you could select two players to take free kicks (like a left footer and a right footer). Then in the game the two players could have button symbols above their heads (like corners) and you could select the shot.

I also wonder whether it would be good to have a button to trap the ball when you receive a pass/ lob. That way you could dummy receiving passes and create more space. Plus it could replace those annoying computer animations where you pick up the ball and run straight into a tackle/ the net/ the touchline before you've actually got control.

But then again, maybe that's just me.

I would like to see offers from other clubs simplified, e.g. see the interessted clubs page and click on the player straight away, not have to go back to ttransfer market.

How about the manager being offered jobs by othr clubs, even just at the end of the season, so that you can move to bigger clubs.

great lists you guys got here, agree with ´em all. I would also like to see away goalkeeper kits in the game. and I think it would be a good idea to have the league badges in seperate files, not attached to the kit. when you play the game the badge would be placed on the sleeves. then when you win the league, get relegated or promoted the league badge would be changed at the start of the next season, a team gets promoted to the premier league, and then revieves the premier league batch instead of the nationwide one. that way we wouldn´t need to change the kits everytime when the next season starts

I think that FIFA 2005 would be too large if EA include all these features and would most probably end up in 5 CDs! FIFA 2005 would be great with these great features. Lets hope EURO 2004 would have these features...

Just need to say one thing about some of these post.

Most complaints are about gameplay but when you all do a wish list for next game you mention things about graphics, chants, celebrations, statidiums, captains etc...

I think we should all let EA focus on the gameplay and making the game more realistic. If they are caught up developing all these other things they never get the gameplay right. Forget that stuff, it can come later, lets gets the good gameplay then move on with all the other stuff. Make sense?
