Gameplay
FIFA 05/UCL 05
Well the gameplay is OK. Not good, not horrible. The players runs as if they're businessmen running in streets. Their arms dangle crazily. The passing system is bad. The passing is a joke. When a player passes a ball, the receiver just stands, watching the ball rolling towards them. When the ball is crossed in, no matter how tall or how good the player is, he can hardly score a header. The defenders always clear it. In FIFA 05, when a player shoots, he suddenly slows down his pace, then shoots like a rocket. The ball doesn't turn at all. In UCL 05, at least the ball turns. The freekick system sucks in both games. the formula is: HIT the point, then GOAL!!! Not special reqired, and it's not realastic. Now the corner system. In FIFA 05, it's scripted. Always the goalkeeper comes out and grabs the ball. In UCL 05, the same things happens if the ball is near the keeper. The movements of the goalkeppers are the same. No matter who he is, he stiill do the same things. If there's a low ball coming, they always let it in. In addition, First Touch introduced in FIFA 05 is not that good. Neither is No-ball.
PES 4/WE8i
The gameplay is very nice. The players run like the ones on TV. Their passes arre not 100% accurate, so you have to control the receiver to get the ball. When the ball is crossed, the chance you win the ball is 50%. However, only 15% of the headers can turn into goals, which is not very realastic. The shooting system is brilliant. The shots can be affected by the dominant feet of the players, and also the points of curling. The freekick and corner system are similar. They are just like the shooting system, which is more realastic the FIFA's. There're some problems with the goalkeepers. When the ball just passes, or even hits the posts, they have no reaction. Are they too frightened?
Result: PES 4/WE8i wins

FIFA 2005/UCL 2005
The stadiums are quite good. They are detail, and the names of the stadiums are shown on the screens. However, all the pitches look the same. The faces of the players are bad. They are obviously generated by computer, and lots of weak players share the same face. In addition, in UCL 05, the thumbs of the manager in Season Mode look horrible!
PES 4/WE8i
The stadiums are as good as FIFA's. They are detail, and the most important thing, is all the pitches are different. The faces of the players are not repeated, and all of them look great---except for Silvestre's. I fing out in the replay that in a certain distance, his face will turn into a mask.

A football game focuses on the things happening in the pitches, so that gameplay is hte most important. Great graphics can attract people to play. Remember, gameplay is THE MOST IMPROTANT, not the number of teams or players.
That means... ... ... ...PES/WE WINS!!!
