lmaoo,, in that clip, danny isaac sez "we came up with an idea called First touch"....
WE came up with?????? why is "first touch" an idea that needs to be "came up with"?? shouldnt the concept of First Touch already be an integral part of a soccer game??!?! thats like the producer of ESPN Basketball saying, "well in this year's rendition, the players can actually dribble the ball"
ahhh another year, another gimmick,, last year it was the orgasmic,, oops i mean organic animation gimmick, and now this.
and all you fifa/ea supporters, dont get on my back about "wait till the game comes out to judge".. Hellll no! im judging RIGHT NOW. and why can i do that? cuz this is EA fifa we are talking about, not the "other soccer game".
anyway, i hope fifa 2k5 ends up as a real simulation, but when they're bragging about a concept and making a mountain out of a mole-hill,,,,

Play WE/PES on the PS2, the R2 button does all those "first touch" manuevers. open your eyes, pay attention and you will see.

I agree, the first touch should have been added a long time ago. Without it, the gameplay is lacking. I think this is a major thing that was holding fifa back in the previous years. This and the lack of control that your player has on the ball among other things.

I've just read that Hands-on preview, EA seem to be going the right way about the game now. It sounds so realistic from what I read and I think EA will be challenging PES/WE this year.
