fifa 2005 gameplay to fifa 2004

Umm...I highly doubt it. That's basically what Fifa 2005 is anyway...Fifa 2004 with slightly different gameplay.

the gameplay is exactly the same, all they did was change the responsiveness of the players. I thought they'd have added an extra dimension to the game.

The players feel too light now and passing is far too easy, no pressurising.

oh...why would you want to anyhow, it's virtually the same with slightly improved physics, added physics and player responsiveness, other than that, it's the same game.

its a complete different game man!!
are you blind?? Gameplay is wonderful!
you can dribble past defenders! shooting system is good!
FIFA 2004 has nothing to do with FIFA 2005.
i played about 40 games now on professional.
sometimes i win sometimes the cpu does.
I LOVE THAT GAME

No...My eye sight is good. Do you have any concept of gameplay?
Because you can dribble past players now, doesn't mean the gameplay has been improved.

The gameplay has been improved when the general scope of the game has changed, not minuscule things like 5% improvement on shooting or on passing etc…

Generally the game, plays like Fifa 2004, it feels too static, opposition doesn’t close down play, there’s no pressing functionality. The game lacks depth from a tactical perspective. It’s vague football or as EA say…its fun football.

Complete nonsense. You said that you've only played it once and it shows. Every bit of gameplay is tweaked in FIFA 2005 over the 2004 version.

5% improvement on shooting? It's had a complete overhaul. Shots don't curl like crazy anymore. Some shots curl, some are blasted and some are placed like passes. Compared to FIFA 2004 where every shot was the same this is a huge improvement.

And passing has been improved a lot as well. Short passes are more intelligent because if you play them sideways to a player in space it's put a little bit infront of them. Then there's the lob through pass, which I think looks just as good as PES3's lob through pass, which I found in PES3 too easy to do.

The opposition do close down. Have you been playing the easiest level? I find even on semi-pro they close down well. And if you want to press you can call in another player using the trigger runs button, which basically functions the same way the square button does in PES3.

Which difficulty level is the demo on?

Gameplay is soooo much better than Fifa 2004. I'm having such a laugh flicking on balls, rounding defenders and sliding passes to players running into space. Opposition is scoring great goals also, volleys, free kicks (looks so good) now I know not to give away stupid free kicks unlike 2004 when it ALWAYS went for a corner. Henry is so fast compared to others and Reyes also. Try playing with Berkamp. Great first touch but no pace to beat defenders. Scored a great goal when Pires stopped the ball goint out by sliding, got up, beat 2 defenders, crossed to Reyes who flicked it on to an onrushing Henry...bang 1:0. Never scored anything like that in fifa 2004 or before. Well done EA..your not there yet but getting there!!
