not too excited about the game anyhow after last years dissapointment, I wasted £40 on that game :f***:

Exactly. Which is why I haven't got an answer on this yet.

Never say never but I'd be very suprised if it was released today or anytime soon.

Edit: That fifa international news is more convincing. They have got some things right.

Yeah I've seen it now. It seems like it may be true. If it is it has totally come out of the blue.

I'm doing my best to find out from EA Canada. As soon as I find out something I'll let you know.

Sorry for not believing but this was really not expected. I was actually going to go to EA tomorrow to preview the game but if the demo's out then there's no need for that. Anyway, we should know in the next couple of hours. Of course, if the demo is released I'm more excited than any to play it. I'll also have to make sure it gets on Soccer Gaming asap.

We have good news for you. The FIFA 2005 demo, will be released today. The demo has succesed, the test phases. We will keep you up, about this news.

"It's an 86Meg Zip file that unzips on the PC to 110MB. As has been said it's one half (6 minutes real time) between Arsenal and AC Milan at Highbury. All the My FIFA options, in fact all front end options other than "Play Now" have been disabled. Of note is the fact that there is no commentary in the demo, so to keep the demo to a manageable downloadable size. The in-game options are enabled, substitutions can be a bit confusing to do, and as there is no commentary you need to be observant to notice that they have actually happened. With a lack of front end options, you cannot reconfigure a controller, but there is a list of supported controllers in the readme (accessed from the install screen). "

heh it's so nice to be excited...bad part comes when the 17 mins are over and you start wondering if the demo is actually coming. Don't bring your hopes up too much is all i'm saying...fingers crossed anyway :)
