FIFA 2005 and PS2 Control??

Hey guys,

You've probably already found a fix for this, but I'm trying to change the controls for my control pad. First I had the airflo and I could never change the keys for the control, so I just got used to the config. Now I just bought the PSX to USB, and I'm wondering if there is a fix or something that lets me change the buttons for my controller? I'm able to do it with all my games except FIFA.

my recomendation is to just go buy the PS2 version of FIFA 2005, or the xbox or gamecube version if you dont have a PS2, the game runs more smooth and fluid like on the consoles

no it's runs alot more smoothly than the PS2 version. I have both. It's just the controls not being configurable.

well its pretty simple to do it:

go to start then run and type in "regedit"

then go to edit then find and search the name of ur game pad right now. ex if it is called "USB Joystick" then search for that.

once it is found... u should see OEMname and OEMdata
double click OEMName and change the data value to

"DualPSX-USB Adaptor"

then close out of the regedit box and run fifa 2005

go to game setting then controls and click the arrow next to where it says keyboard then you should be able con configure it how you would like unless you want it with the default settings which would be the ps2 mapping.
