FIFA 2004 PS2 Bugs

From what I understand, for the PS2, there is no way to put the referee or linesman in the game, because EA decided they didn't need to be "in the game".

I would say try adjusting the disk speed & image mapping?? from Standard to Faster (can't remember now but there's two settings on the PS2 in the system options, it resets everytime the reset is pushed or the PS2 is turned off).

I doubt this will help... sounds like your disk is very buggy... I would return it to EA and have them replace it... you never know you might get a less buggy one.

I finally got it for the Cube and the game plays almost flawlessly. The frame rate drops a couple of times, but that's about it.

my game sometimes freezes after games vs human players...happened twice already and has also happened to my friend!!

I really don't think it's my disc, I think that the game's coding is just flawed. But hey, I suppose it wouldn't hurt to send it to EA, but if they write me back and say that the game is perfectly fine, do you know how pissed I'm going to be for them releasing it to the public with this many bugs?!

I have tried a friends PS2 and it behaves the same, I am going to turn all the TRAX off to see if that helps a little, because I guarantee EA will do nothing because it cannot be fixed with a patch. You live by the sword, you die by the sword. I enjoy the game, but as games become more complex, the machine needs to handle it.
