Just saw the movie. Quality wasn't that good, just like you mentiond Matt. But I have a good view on what's to come! I believe this time EA made a really good game!

I like the foulsystem, sometimes the player falls to the ground during a push for the ball and not only during a tackle. Graphics really look good!

yeah a couple of new fouling ways.. looked cool... the only thing was that header goal in front of the goalie at the end.. it happened twice in the same situation.. one didnt go in.. one did.. and the goalie doesnt even move.. hope they get around to fixing that

Don't forget this is from a build 4 weeks old. EA won't be that crazy to show all their tricks from there sleeves right away! It keeps the fan's curious ;)

Well what can I say ... it didn't look good... but it's because this vid is from a build version I REALLY hope that's the reason why this video sucked it was like watching fifa 2003 on video.. :hump:

I was pretty impressed with the video. I love the new ways of fouling, and I like the graphics VERY much. The A.I seems to be much smarter for making the play and even tried a cool skill move against the human player, quite impressive.

I also see that in the 2nd part of the vid, the player misses the header and you can see a cut-scene showing his disappointment, then a fraction of the replay after, this was in 2003, but it looks better now.

The Collision detection beats Club Football hands-down, on one of the fouls, the player rolls over and a player runs past him and you can see how the player reacts, he actually moves out of the way, very cool attention to detail. Usually he'd just have walked through him, and taken away the whole realism of the match. The ball physics also seem improved and the defence seems sharper and more organised.

I'm no way going to buy the game yet though, not until I've played the demo.

Also, don't forget guys, these games were controlled by guys who had just picked up the FIFA 2004 controls for the first time.

Did anyone notice how INCREDIBLE the lighting is on the replay where the attacker heads the ball wide? I paused the video at that point and it's very hard to tell that it's not real!

Keep up the good work EA! We might have something good on our hands....I'll keep my fingers crossed...

The new fouls look like they add some more depth to the aerial play too, which is good.
The positioning of the defenders also looks like it's improved quite a bit.
And I think they made the goals a bit smaller.

Also I couldn't help noticing after just watching 2 PES movies too, the gameplay looks more and more similar, they way the ball bounces and the way the players interact with the ball. Not to mention the camera view looks pretty similar.

Competition between these games is the best thing that could happen for us customers. Both are pushing hard to have the best game and I for sure am getting both.

What i noticed:
:: The Attendance number is shown at the start of the match(small feature but i like it)
:: A lot smoother animations and movement..
:: Movement from the defenders was a lot different as well when the player took hold of the ball near the the penelty area and ran with it
:: Smoother FPS
:: Different way of fouling ppl

It's hard to judge the fps from footage shot with a videocamera.
And we don't know what system is running the game.
For all we know it could be a Dual 2.2 Ghz AthlonFX with 2GB PC400 and a Radeon9800XT running the game @ 800x600x16 ;)
