Im just saying that the game is done already, maybe they have to finish some final touches but the main thing is done. just because you say here that you dont like the crowds, by watching a screenshot, they wont go back to basics and redo the crowds.

I'll just wait and see when the demo/game is released and then I'll complain :p

I feel FIFA 2004 will be a much greater improvement over 2003 for sure!

I just hope there's no gameplay bugs and that I can play this game for a looong time.

hi guys
I have just saw one of the movie
and I think on of the best things that the players now can move in more directions than ever and I think that what made the animation feel more smooth
and I think that if this was 60% complete movie the final stages must be far away better asuming that this was really 60 % complete ver.
but the good thing is that the players dosent feel to be robots as I saw they look more like real
and I really believe that the best way to judge this game is by the demo and to see how will it feel to take control over the games
and by the way there is one guy made a thread that the Off The Ball Control have been taken off the game can any 1 say somthing about this

Nah, I think they just changed some stuff, but Off The Ball ™ control should remain in the game. :)

It's probably the controls that have changed.

All the videos you're watching of FIFA 2004 were filmed months ago. They are just steadily being released now. The FIFA 2004 gameplay you see is from the pre-alpha build.

Off The Ball control is still very much in the game.

how old are these videos then? And will the game be finished in time for the release or will more stuff need to be cut out?

well these are the first videos of fifa2004 i'm really impressed with, as many have said its the animations that make a big difference, and i like the looseness between ball and player. looks pretty promising!

i think he mentioned the videos in fifa2004.ea.com ,and remeber hrvoje said that they may answer his questions in a month, because they are in the final stages of making the game, and i think they are sending not-completed versions of fifa 2004 to these events, fifa is about to be finished :)

Even if this movies are from ECTS, the build at ECTS is 4 weeks older than the current build EA is working on at the moment. The current build, seeing as it was not complete, was crashing on corners. Even though it was far more advanced, Sony would not allow EA to show a build which crashed so EA had no option but to show the 4 week old build.

So if you are liking what you see in the new ECTS movies, wait until you see the latest build.

Regardless of this build being four weeks old though, aren't you impressed at the completely new look and style it has. The way the ball bounces around freely and how smooth player animations occur?

hi i don't know if anybody watched these, but they have sth like the videos of fifa 2004,i think they are ads for fifa 2003,but the moves that davids does are totally same with the moves del piero does in last fifa 2004 official video, and the shoot that carlos kicks, has a great curve also it is in-game.
did ea put the things that they will do in fifa 2004 to these videos.
