FIFA 2004 Demo this week!

fianl code?

I thought that the demo was Fianal code? and that EA Canada would not release to the EA UK or EA where ever if it was still Beta?

I hope it is out Friday , but don't hold your breath waiting for it if there is problems!

the game is finished... but demo's are specially build.. so they have to make sure is stable and wont crash.

we know that. but i'm going to check what teams are going to be in the Demo!

okey ; this is just a what i spoke with a friend a few hours a go ; i was talking to my one of my friends at messenger ( he lives in L.A ); and we where talking about our gamespy accounts; he has a paying account and i have a free account; but with a paying account you get demos before you can download them anywere; an this is true because he sent me call of duty demo over at kazaa before its was ready to download anywere else ( like 3 days before ); and he receives a emails from gamespy; but yesterday he receive a particular email saying the for upcoming demos to download this weekend ; and he told me that he saw fifa 2004 in that list to download at friday; so if this true; we can excpect fifa 2004 maybe sunday or monday to download at other sites; although he is not fifa 2004 fan ; he told me he will download it ; and send it to me via kazaa;

so posibilities increase for me for getting it this friday or saturday; so cross your fingers people.

This is not true at all. FIFA 2004 does not use Gamespy Arcade, and therefore EA SPORTS have not done a deal with Gamespy to release the demo early on their site. Therefore, the second the demo is ready and put online by EA, it will be available from any site that wishes to upload it. This will hopefully be on Friday, but is not certain yet.

i beg to differ matt ; maybe fifa 2004 does not use gamespy arcade "YET" (maybe until friday :D ); but ea sports DOES have DEAL with gamespy ill bet you on that ; you can download demos at gamespy from every latest ea sports game; if you dont believe me check it out; so IMO why wouldnt ea sports have a deal for fifa 2004 demo come early; this situation happened with other ea and ea sports games; you can even sign up to beta test games at gamespy if you qualify.

iam not tryng to yank anyone; to be honest it doesnt matter to me if it comes on friday or next month; to me the only thing that matters is that the game wont play slow on my pc and looks good on my 64mb videocard

i think what Matt said.. is that EA doesnt make the demos available earlier at gamespy... but they get it at the same time everyone else does.

and iam saying that this has happen before; it has happened with madden 2004 demo made by ea sports; i even remember happended with medal oh honor: allied assault demo and the latest expansion pack BREAKTHROUGH demo; which my friend also send me via kazaa before it was ready to download anywere else; i am just telling you the facts ; guess we will have to wait until friday to see:D

i know this doesnt have to do with the demo but since there is no date for the full game's release i thought i would put this here:

For as long as i can remember it said on EA's website that the full game was: "Coming in October" (no specific date though) I go back there today and now it says "Coming in November" :o (i'm talking about the games release date, not the demo)
