FIFA 2004 Bugs and things to be fixed

i got C.Ronaldo clear slite tackle because the winger sprint too fast, ball is far from his feet, but after i made a slite, the winger keep sprinting and his leg hit C.Ronaldo hand and fall down. straight red card~!! whoes fault there?

Well i also have had a couple of bug come up during the game. The first one was i was playing with manchester united and i scored with ryan giggs, then i got van nistelrooy red carede and in the highlights it shows paul scholes scoring i was like wtf?, Then i was playing one on one with my firned and we went to pk. You know how it shows the players name on the bottome corners well i was juventus and he was brazil and i was shooting my pk with del piero and intead of y power meter moving it was didas power meter! LOL, i was wondering can i return the game and if i can what do i tell them? Well thanks guys hopefully 2005 will have less bugs cause these lil buggs are anoying

Have you guys noticed that when you change the in-game tactics that it sometimes messes up your line up, also you cant change tactics once you are in the match,

Facial animations on the players would be nice, as well as being able to create your own team/players on XBOX or other console systems instead of just having the creation center for PC.

I just had a strange experience. I played Feyenoord against PSV Eindhoven. At the end of the game it was 2-0, but according to the highlights of the game it was 2-2. It seemed that PSV secretsly scored two goals. Then I looked at match stats and it said 2-0. But I really saw Kezman score two times in the replays although the goals looked a lot like the goals that I scored.

well i you have to take a goal kick ... and you press scape and hit space again to return to the game the goalkeeper will pass the ball even if you didnt press any button

I'm on Xbox and can still control the player with the ball whilst using off-the-ball. If you're on PC, it may require dual control sticks on the gamepad as that's the way it's implemented on Xbox.

Even so, it is difficult to control both players simultaneously without losing the ball.
AI for the player with the ball would be OK but I'm sure I would get pissed for what the AI does with my player on the ball more often than not.
I think it just takes time and a lot of coordination.

Let's face it people fifa 2004 is an ok football game , it's not great i know and i doubt that the fifa football games will ever have the word great associated with them, i know people love fifa and then there are the so called fifa haters, everyone is entitled to host there opinions because lets face it this is what forums are for, i believe easports are doing a pretty good job with their fifa games, but alas there still along way off making a great soccer game for the pc, you only have to play the pes3 demo to see that.
I did buy fifa 2004 and at first i was impressed by it , that was until i tried to configure my sidewinder(usb) gamepad, every other fifa football game i have bought i have had no problem with until now, you have to go into regedit and also edit files just to be able to play the game, well i took the game back to where i bought it from and got a credit note, i see people asking and hoping on this forum for easports to release patches to make the gameplay better or to make the game as realistic as it should be in real life what i would say to these people is don't hold your breath, when does easports ever release a patch for their fifa games, i will tell you when never

The game needs one on one play just passing and kicking is boring. The options need to go back like they used to be, the new ones are terrible. This game looks better but is less entertaining.

Some of the player ratings are off. Buffon (80) and Camoranesi(61) for example are underated. Im sure there is others.

I was really annoyed when i was 4-0 up against leeds in the 4th round of the league and i was reading. it was 90th min when....it crashed. FIFA really HAVE to get rid of these errors.

Another bug to fix: make the game run smoother, i got a Pentium 4, geeforce 4, and really good memory and still from times to times it doesnt run as smooth!!!

yes i agree make the freakin game run smooth. my god the graphics arent even good. fifa03 looked better for me. I have a amd 2400 and radeon 9700, but still the graphics are ugly. Player faces look like they got terrible skin condition. Why does it look that bad while fifa2003 looked great, i just dont understand ea.

and plz change the menus. The menu looks like they quickly finished it off the last five minutes before release.
In the standing tables or if i want to compare player stats i have to browse through ten pages. Very usefull....NOT!!!! Again why??? Previous fifa menus where great, but this one is so basic. The whole "gaming atmosphere" comepletely vanishes because of this. They just gave us an unfinished product again, those filthy money stealing ea bastards:kader:

I totally agree... I also have the skin problems with players ... it seems like they have a skin desaease or something .. but I can play the game really smooth

I also want to add that the commentaries suck big time ! they have some kind of delay so they announce it once the you are mmking another different play...is real if the delay is like 0'1 seg but the problem is that it takes like 3-4 seconds to tell
