Fifa 2004 AWAY MASTER BUG

Ever notice how the away team never has dirty uniforms? Worse yet, when the formation is altered it doesn't show effects taking place formationwise. Example: 4-4-2 changed to 3-5-2 will not show change on the formation screen. :kader:

Bugs every where

The first game I play after I got the FIFA 2004, I already find bugs in it. They seem to be rushing the game out really bad. There are bugs every where. Specially those cut scenes. I am a video game QA myself and I really think EA did a very bad job on the FIFA 2004 QA testing. I wonder how they get pass the PS2 and XBox standards.

the worst bugs are that the keeper can walk through the goal nets, and sometimes the shirts go clear

FIFA 2004 is a good game but what really ruins it and makes it second best to PES is all the sloppy programming... I got 3 Italian teams in one champs league group, the away kits don't get dirty, there are no half-time cut-scenes when you're playing at home, the clumsy menus, the injury bug where it suggests that your player will be back a week BEFORE the day he was injured etc.. I mean I wouldn't even dream of passing my uni computing project if I had such bugs.

Everyone wants a new soccer game every year, so mistakes will exist to get the game out to the customers in a timely manner.

i reckon the worst mistake is the fact you cant dribble anyone
why the f*ck would i burn all my transfer money to buy ronaldo or totti or someone with a high skill level when i can use some dope from the reserves list, slap him at centre forward and achive the same thing
and what is with the defence, OK, u expect to see a tight defence when you move the ball down slowly but on a break i dun fnk i should have to take on 4,5,6 or 7 players when i cant even DRIBBLE around them if my life depended on it
some aspects are brilliant but some stuff makes me wanna rip the CD outta the drive and play bloody frisbie or sumfin with it

The "special moves" in this year's game are anything but special. Heck you can barely use even one "special move" effectively in 5 games, and even if you do, you probably didn't accomplish anything by doing so.

well IMO i think fifa 2003 its better then 2004.

the only thing positive in 2004 its the graphics, everything else is just a mess.

i wish EA stoped for a couple of years to really remake everything from the basics, insted of guioving us every year a incomplete buggy game

I manage to dribble quite often - and I play on worldclass.. just needs lots of practice which is good because it isn't supposed to be easy at all (which is one of the things i dislike about PES3 actually - too easy to dribble).

I think its a shame that EA ask that lot of money, for a game where they can work on for a year, and that lot of bugs!!!!!!
I also found out that some shirts get not dirty, and that crappy menu..........
Also a lot of other stuff thats wrong , i hope that pierre hintze will read this forum, and that they see what to do in fifa 2005.......................................and that they make some good things for the game, and another important thing, thay must let the good things from older fifa games in it, and not remove it, becuase we had already dirty shirts in euro 2000, and than 4 years not.

I'm dissapointed about the turfs in the game...Some stadiums just have a "green" turf that looks silly...EA said that the games pitch would be so fine that you almost could smell it...WRIGHT!!!
