Let me just state that Bad Artist No Cookie will disappear when you downlaod the msvbvm60.dll and put it in your windows>system folder.
And downlaod the new awesome Demo Raptor, changing the resolution may help try everything this program offers!!:D

And the Bad Artist No Cookie disapered from the game, black screen... it worked with my winXp nVidai TNT2 m64pro 32mb:)

Good Luck:mrpimp:

I've got the NVIDIA Riva TNT2 (Ultra) with latest drivers and directx 8.1 but still rainbow colours. But for some reason it must work for them otherwise why is it in the supported chipsets?

Hi friends,

I've tried the demo with different computers.
First with:
Pentium III 650MHZ
Intel 82810-DC100 Graphic Controller
64MB memory

result: like you all with Bad Artist No Cookie and no numbers bad colours

Secondly with:
Pentium II 333MHZ
Nvidia GeForce2 MX 32MB graphic card
64MB memory

result: It works fine but a bit slower. No Bad Artist No Cookie and good colours plus the name and numbers at the back.

My comment:
The game looks different from the past FIFA series but not perfect yet. Hope they can adjust something to a bit better before the release at the end of this month.

FIFA 2003 demo problems

People. i'm typing again..., i've got a demo, i've got an ATI Radeon VIVO 64 MB DDR, and everything is perfetc, well, i don't have ad boards, and i think that's normal... AI is slow, that's perhaps it's on amateur setting...

And, about your video cards, i've got some suggestions.

For GeForce users: download drivers from www.nvidia.com
For ATI users: download drivers from www.ati.com (CATALYST drivers ONLY!!!, i think that catalyst are just for radeon series)
For Direct X: download it from www.microsoft.com

For advanced users: download drivers from: www.guru3d.com

There u can find ALL drivers for ALL strong graphics cards manufacturers. Clocked drivers for 3dfx, ati, geforce cards....

I hope that helped... again

I know that TNT 2 is not compatibile with some games, it has problems with drivers and stuff. If u have RIVA TNT Vanta u can say goodbye to FIFA couse Vanta's processor is not for games.
Anyway, wisit official NVIDIA site for the latest drivers or wisit www.guru3d.com . There u could find ALL drivers for ALL strong graphic manufacturers, included NVIDIA, and edited drivers for advanced users.

I hope that helped,

Cheers

Hi guys, I am back.

I can see there are a lot of ppl here who have problems with there Fifa 2003 demo. Let's see if we can fix it ;)

I have:
AMD Athlon 1.4GHz
Windows XP
384 MB SDRAM
GeForce Ti4600 128 DDR
DirectX 8.1

My game runs perfetly smooth and no "cookies" or "bad artist" things.

Remember to install your latest graphics drivers!!!
For Nvidia card use the 30.82 (and NOT the 40.72!!)
Install DirectX 8.1 from www.microsoft.com/directX

Ok here comes the important part!!

There is a DirectX 8.1 update out there which is called Q306676.
This patch has helped me to fix problems for many games!
Here is the link where you can download the update:
DirecX 8.1 update patch

Remember!
When instaling a patch or a driver:
Uinstall the old one ---> REBOOT
Install the new one ----> REBOOT

I hope this solves the problem, at least it did so for me :D

Do you need Windows XP or something? I have ME and i have the wrong dll files. Firstly i got D3D8.dll missing, so i downloaded it from www.filesearching.com. Then i got D3D8THK.dll missing, so i downloaded that from google. Then it said D3D8thk was not linking properly to GDI32.dll, so i downloaded that...but still had same message, now I am stuck. Other people have posted with same problem but NO RESPONSE! Please can someone give me some ideas.

Thanks

.DLL file missing

:mad:I have downloaded the game three times now with DAP. It's only 15.72 MB, not the 16+MB. Is that a problem?
Anyway, my current problem is as follows:
I am setting up the game, it uploads all the info, then at the end I get an error message that states:
Missing a .DLL file, D3D8.DLL
So does anyone know what the deal is with that?
Thanks

Yes, i think that could be a problem. My version, downloaded by Go!Zilla is 16.5 MB heavy.
With my demo is everything ok, but i don't have ad boards...
I hope that this is only demo bug, and EA must fix it in full version

Cheers
