It was half price on Origin a few weeks ago, all their games were. This year EA bumped the price up yet another 10 bucks, I'm going to have to plan a bank heist if I want to play FIFA 16.

Every year the same thing. I enjoy FIFA 15, but let's get real... it's the exact same game every year but with slight improvements to the controls and graphics. Is that, for me anyway, worth dishing out 90+ bucks after taxes? No.

Sure. But here's the thing: FIFA plays like absolute shit without rinaldo's tools and major edits. So for me, the day there are no more tools to edit the game, is the day this series dies. Even if EA keeps making it for PC.

EA is trying harder every year to make sure we can't edit the game, so don't count on us having editing tools for much longer.

keeping fingers crossed for next year..

i'm still not happy about certain aspects..

1.player hair should be made more real.
2.i don't buy their argument on not adding real manager faces/animations.
3.why only messi no-touch dribble?
why not do it for ronaldo & other players too?

i guess they haven't got the technology to do it yet.

This is what gamers care about = the reason EA can get away with releasing the same game every year. What I would like to see? A game where CPU players react and move and dribble like they do in real life. You know, instead of the psychic ninja cyborgs EA programs into their game every damn year. Even with Agility set to 1, CPU players in FIFA are STILL unrealistically quick and agile. How about they fix that first, then move on to "flowing hair"?

The game plays 300% better when player ratings are lowered by 80%. That's pretty much all they have to do to fix FIFA's gameplay. But they never will of course because most gamers just want to play with 95-rated Messi and Ronaldo.

Have you ever done an examination of how EA actually rates players? It's simple:

First tier players' speed/accel ratings = 80 to 99.
Second tier players speed/accel ratings = 65 to 85.
Third tier and youth players' speed/accel ratings = 50-75.

In real life, as players get older they physically slow down. But in FIFA, they start off slow as 17 year olds, and then get faster and faster as they become stars!

The default game ratings are a joke and all this could be fixed overnight if EA wanted to, but they never will.

i also thing there's something missing in their ratings system..

probably a new feature that'll come up only in NG fifa...
till then those who desire a real simulation are forced to make do with
db/ratings/cl edits.

You're assuming EA has the wish to change this. They don't. They specifically create the game like this for the pace-abuse online crowd. NG isn't going to change anything. The only thing NG is going to do is further complicate modding, and make it impossible to edit the game to get it to play like real life.

they create the product that they think will sell..

in the end money is what matters ..that's all they care about.

no..i only meant maybe in NG they'll add something fancy,maybe a new gameplay feature to 20% cover the arcade glitches.

but for FIFA 16 licensed BUNDESLIGA,women footie on PC for the first time and an improved defence system would be good enough for me
